Uno de los grandes retos de las matemáticas es implementar estrategias para su aprendizaje. Esto supone un reto para los docentes hoy en día quienes, en la mayoría de los casos, no se desprenden del modelo educativo de enseñanza tradicional, cuya consecuencia es la presencia de alumnos desmotivados y con dificultades para el aprendizaje de las matemáticas. Por ello, el propósito del presente artículo es analizar los alcances que tiene el Método Singapur para la enseñanza de las matemáticas, mencionando las dimensiones, enfoques, metodología y teorías que sustentan dicho método. Este se basa en el desarrollo de pensamiento de los estudiantes para transfórmalos en ciudadanos capaces de enfrentar las exigencias de la sociedad con una actitud creativa y abierta. Asimismo, se basa sobre el enfoque Concreto, Pictórico, Abstracto (CPA). La principal conclusión obtenida es que el Método Singapur ha incrementado positivamente el aprendizaje de las matemáticas, ya que permite a los estudiantes pasar de una fase manipuladora a una fase de dibujo, y gradualmente alcanzar un nivel abstracto.
Educar no es una tarea sencilla; requiere amor, paciencia y disciplina. Esta última debe ser impartida con forma inteligente y saludable, cuidando en todo momento la integridad física y mental del niño. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la eficacia del uso de la disciplina educativa positiva: una estrategia para evitar los problemas de conducta. La muestra estuvo constituida por cinco familias, a quienes se entrevistó, usando como instrumento un guion estructurado. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que la disciplina educativa positiva es, en efecto, una estrategia para modular el comportamiento negativo del niño, dentro y fuera del aula de clases, entendiendo además que la motivación continua y oportuna es la clave durante este proceso.
Con el objeto determinar en qué medida se relacionan las estrategias didácticas (narrativa, poética, lectura, descriptiva,lúdicas, teatro, canto y dibujo) y la comunicación (familiar y escolar), en un estudio básico y correlación, de enfoque cuantitativo; el estudio fue realizado con la participación de 40 niños y niñas de educación inicial, en la edad de 5 años, en la Villa Monte Castillo, a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario para medir las dos variables: estrategias didácticas y comunicación. Los resultados indican que no existe evidencia estadísticamente significativa (rs=0.289, p=0.071), que muestre la existencia de relación entre la variable estrategias didácticas y comunicación. Solamente el canto tiene una relación significativa con la comunicación, el 0.827. En conclusión, no existe relación entre las variables estudiadas.
El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la eficacia del programa “Jugando y pensando voy avanzando”, para desarrollar la noción del número, en estudiantes de 5 años del nivel inicial de la I.E.P “Estrellitas”, ubicada en Santa Anita UGEL N° 06 Ate 2018, en un diseño pre-experimental, con enfoque cuantitativo, en 29 estudiantes. El recojo de información se realizó mediante el instrumento “Guía de observación” (en la condición de prueba de entrada y prueba de salida), validado por expertos y por el análisis estadístico. En la prueba de entrada, el 34,5% se encontraba en inicio, y el 58,6 % en el nivel de proceso; no obstante, este resultado cambió después de la aplicación del programa; en la prueba de salida, el 100% obtuvo el nivel de logro. En conclusión, el programa fue efectivo para el desarrollo de la noción del número.
