School children are at a rapid development stage in their intellectual and skill processes and are beginning to have vigorous physical activities. To support the development and physical activity, school children need various kinds of nutrients in sufficient quantities in order to grow and develop properly, because the role of nutrition greatly determines the child's health condition.In this regard, many direct factors are affecting nutritional status, including food consumption and infectious diseases. Moreover, several indirect factors, such as knowledge, education, income level, parental education, and family size, also affected the nutritional status. In developing countries, including Indonesia, nutrition is becoming more critical in terms of public health because malnutrition can reduce immunity to several diseases, especially infectious diseases.This community service program aims to increase education and provide information about stunting through the dissemination of stunting prevention and fostering the creativity of the community through the utilization of the home yard. The implementation methods employed includeddissemination, the use of Poskesdes as a Healthy Village House, coaching, and community empowerment. Thematic Community Service Program outputs are dissemination activities, the formation of Healthy Village Houses and modules on the use of house yards, and the formation of garden models, which are the results of the utilization of house yards that can be emulated by people who want to use their houses as gardens. The advice given regarding this Community Service Program is that the local government needs to support the stunting prevention in the village, especially in Karya Indah Village. Moreover, awareness is needed from village officials, health cadres, and the community in managing Poskesdes as a Healthy Village Home. Guidance and support from village officials and youth organizations are also needed for the community regarding the utilization of home yards
The Village Project Program –Independent Campus aims to empower libraries by implementing the national reading movement. This program is implemented through education and training, mentoring, service, and guidance, which are expected to be sustainable through the awareness of related parties, especially the government and regional libraries. These parties are expected to pay attention to village library facilities and infrastructure that can realize the national reading movement program.Besides, to support the national reading movement, the program is also directed at forming literacy communities, literacy lodges, and reading parks in Bone Bolango.The Freedom to Learn - Independent Campus Community Service Program with the theme "Empowerment of Village Libraries through the Implementation of the National Reading Movement" is implemented by prioritizing the principle of empowering local communities with the primary objective of program sustainability and public awareness of the importance of literacy. Therefore, after the Freedomto Learn – Independent Campus Community Service Program is completed, the community, especially the Youth Organization, can continue the program that has been run independently through the Subdistrict Literacy Community forum.Villages need to empower their assets both in terms of human resources and management of the sources of funds used. The focus of empowerment is to improve the community's quality in the literacy skills sector and a better institutional administration system in encouraging the development of reading culture programs.Reading culture in the village can make people have the ability to read from the start and encourage them to love reading. It is recommended for students who take part in Community Service Program in the following years to further improve communication with the community in order to make it easier to run the programs implemented in Tinelo, Bubeya, and Boludawa village
This study aims to describe the psychology of main characters in the novel Gitanjali by Febrialdi R. In detail, the purpose of this study is to describe the psyche of the main character when facing various kinds of problems in his life. This research uses the library method. The subject of this research is a novel entitled Gitanjali by Febrialdi R which was published by mediakita publisher in 2018. This study focuses on problems related to the psychological conflict experienced by the main character. The results showed that: First, the main character of the novel Gitanjali received injustice. An accident that happened when he worked at a restaurant made him dismissed from the restaurant because of his disability. Second, the main character experiences despair in his life and love relationship. He feels hopeless about his love relationship which is not going well due to the demanding parents of his partner. It made him insecure, moreover his partner was a lecturer while he was just an ordinary man. Third, the main character lives alone because since childhood he never knew his biological parents and only lived in an orphanage. Fourth, the main character is depressed due to the problems that come his way.
Provinsi Gorontalo khususnya di Desa Ombulo Kecamatan Limboto Barat menjadi salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi unggulan di bidang usaha perdagangan khususnya usaha kuliner. Sebagian besar masyarakat di desa tersebut berprofesi sebagai pedagang kuliner seperti pedagang nasi jaha dan sate sapi, dodol, milu siram, nasi ayam iloni, brekedel jagung, kue karawo, dan keriping pisang. Kuliner ini dijual di pasar tradisional setiap hari, dengan penghasilan yang menguntungkan bagi mereka, namun semenjak pandemi Covid 19, mereka mengalihkan dagangan mereka di depan rumah masing-masing karena edaran pemerintah untuk menutup pasar sementara waktu. Dampak Covid 19 ini berakibat pada penurunan pendapatan masyarakat sejak berjualan di bahu jalan tepat yang bertepatan di depan rumah mereka. Dengan menjual dagangan di depan rumah, pendapatan mereka berkurang yang hanya cukup memenuhi kebutuhan hidup mereka, dibandingkan pendapatan mereka saat berjualan di pasar tradisional. Sebagian mereka juga belum memasarkan produk kuliner ini secara online karena keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang teknologi. Tujuan pelaksanaan program adalah meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui optimalisasi usaha kuliner berbasis kearifan lokal dan technopreneurship. Metode pelaksanaan program Wira Desa dilaksanakan secara luring mengingat Desa Ombulo termasuk zona hijau dan belum ada masyarakat Ombulo yang terkena dampak Covid 19. Adapun teknik pelaksanaan melalui Sosialisasi Program, Workshop Manajemen Pengelolaan Usaha Kuliner Berbasis Kearifan Lokal dan Technopreneurship, Pelatihan Pemasaran melalui Penggunaan Website dan Media Sosial, pendampingan pengemasan dan pemasaran usaha kuliner, serta program aksi berupa penataan lokasi usaha. Hasil Pelaksanaan Program yang telah dilaksanakan adalah 1) Sosialisasi mengenai program Wira Desa, 2) Workshop Pengemasan dan Pemasaran Produk Kearifan Lokal, 3) Pelatihan pemasaran usaha melalui Website dan Media Sosial, 4) Pendampingan Pengemasan dan Pemasaran melalui Website dan Media Sosial, 5) Rintisan Usaha Baru, 6) Penataan lokasi usaha sehingga terlihat lebih menarik bagi pengunjung, 7) Terbentuknya brand desa Dodol dan Nasi Jaha serta adanya rintisan Desa Ombulo menjadi Kampung Wisata Kuliner di Kecamatan Limboto Barat.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi naratif dan lingkungan tindakan dalam cerita rakyat Bapak Tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori struktur naratif Vladimir Propp dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku kumpulan cerita rakyat Gorontalo. Data penelitian ini berupa kalimat yang menunjukkan fungsi naratif dan lingkungan tindakan. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan struktur naratif dalam cerita rakyat Bapak Tua ditemukan 9 fungsi naratif dan dua lingkungan tindakan. Kata Kunci: Morfologi, Cerita Rakyat, Bapak Tua. AbstractThis study aims to determine the function of the narrative and the action environment in the folklore BapakTua. This study employed Vladimir Propp's narrative structure theory with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sourced from a collection of folklore books of Gorontalo. Data are in the form of sentences that show the narrative function and the action environment. Based on the results and discussion of the narrative structure in the folklore BapakTua, there are nine narrative functions and two action environment.Keywords:morphology, folklore, Bapak Tua
