Objective of this study is to describe the experience of nursing professionals on the subject of immunization with students from a public school in the city of Teresina. This is a descriptive study based on an experience report by resident nurses from the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Family and Community Health in partnership with the Expanded Family Health Center and representatives of the Family Health Strategy team in a municipal public school located in the south of Teresina-PI. The health education action was constituted in three different moments, being these: Welcoming, executed through a dynamic "ice breaker", which aimed to begin the construction of links between professionals and students, development, in which it was possible to perceive the previous knowledge of the students on the subject, through the distribution of cards, followed by the joint construction of a conceptual map elaborated with the knowledge passed on by the resident nurses, decreasing doubts and presenting a new perspective on the importance of immunization, and finalization, through the dynamics of myths and truths. It is concluded that although the students have general knowledge about immunization, some information is passed on to them incompletely, and it is necessary to develop actions that promote students awareness of immunization practices. It is important to emphasize the importance of health professionals to take advantage of active methodologies, acquiring a more sensitive, culminating in greater assimilation of knowledge by the participants and sharing of knowledge.
The nursing record is fundamental in view of the quality of care provided to the patient, it is through the nursing notes and records that the nurse auditor is able to identify the main flaws in the systematization of care. This study aimed to highlight and emphasize the importance of nurses, identifying factors that corroborate process failures due to poorly prepared records in medical records and their dimensions in the audit. This is a descriptive, exploratory study with a qualitative approach, carried out through a systematic literature review. For this purpose, articles in national journals were searched in the databases SCIELO, LILACS, BIREME and BVS, published between the years 2009 and the first semester of 2019. After the full reading of all manuscripts framed in the inclusion criteria, the sample final consisted of 8 complete scientific texts. The study identified the following flaws in nursing notes and records: spelling errors, erasures, use of non-standard acronyms, incorrect terminology, medication checks and procedures not performed. It was concluded that the record in the patient's medical record of the assistance provided covers several aspects and supports ethically and legally the professional responsible for the care, as well as qualifies the assistance to the patient. When this record is scarce and inadequate, it compromises the care provided to the patient, as well as the institution and the nursing team.
The adolescence comprehends a period marked by innumerous physical, psychological, social and cultural changes, that may influence ones emotions and self-perception, which can trigger either a positive or a negative view when it comes to body image. Thus, this paper aims to describe the experience of resident professionals in a health education action on sexuality linked to the physiological changes of puberty and the body perception of adolescents of a public school. This is a descriptive study of the type of experience report that occurred in a municipal public school in the city of Teresina, in october 2018, with students from the sixth to the ninth year of elementary school. It is important to emphasize the importance of health professionals to be present in spaces other than health services, noting the needs and vulnerabilities of the community in which they work, developing activities related to the prevention of diseases and public health aggravations and the promotion of health targeted to children and adolescents, since it is during adolescence that the main physical and psychological changes occur, being, therefore, a period of deep learning and development.
