Anomalous Behavior of the Superconducting Transition Temperature and Width in the Tl-Ba-Ca-Cu-O System in Dependence on the Metal Oxides Concentration. -Thallium containing cuprate ceramics of the general composition TlBa 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O 9 alloyed with different amounts of metal oxides (MgO, Ta 2 O 5 , HfO 2 , V 2 O 5 , as well as MgO/BaF 2 ) are synthesized. The presence of BaF 2 allows the introduction of metal oxide without significant changes of the superconducting properties. Width and transition temp. vary in dependence on the concentration of the metal oxide. -(VOLKOV, V. E.; DANILOV, J. YU.; ZHAROVA, L. A.; KOVALEV, YU. G.; ZHIDKOV, L. L.; CHERNOV, V. K.; MATORIN, E. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
