Die Müngstener Brücke wird derzeit für eine weitere, langfristige Nutzung für die Streckenklasse CM 2 grundinstand gesetzt, maßgeblich verstärkt und in wesentlichen Teilen erneuert. Einen Großteil dieser Maßnahme stellte die zwischenzeitlich abgeschlossene Erneuerung der Fahrbahnbrücke mit der zugehörigen Auflagerung auf den darunterliegenden Gerüstbrücken dar. Die ursprünglich im Entwurf vorgesehene Lagerung musste während der Ausführungsplanung verworfen werden, da die Verdrehungen und Verschiebungen aus Eisenbahnbetrieb konstruktionsbedingt zu erheblichen, nicht nachweisbaren Zwangs‐ und Ermüdungsbeanspruchungen geführt hätten. Da die Lager auch nennenswerte Zugkräfte übertragen müssen, konnten die in Deutschland im Eisenbahnbrückenbau üblicherweise zum Einsatz kommenden Elastomer‐ und Kalottenlager nach DIN EN 1337 nicht zur Ausführung kommen. Vor diesem Hintergrund musste ein neuartiges Lager (ein sogenanntes Kompensationslager) entwickelt werden, welches in der Lage ist, unter Beachtung der hohen Steifigkeitsanforderungen und der beengten Platzverhältnisse die zyklischen Einwirkungen aus Eisenbahnverkehr bei Erfüllung aller kinematischen Randbedingungen dauerhaft zwängungsarm zu übertragen. Bei der Lösung wurde die Idee einer Bolzenverbindung aufgegriffen, bei der die unmittelbaren Verbindungen zwischen den Augenblechen und dem Bolzen durch standardisierte Maschinenelemente ausgeführt werden. Aufgrund der damit verbundenen Regelwerksabweichungen unterlag der neu entwickelte Lagertyp einer unternehmensinternen Genehmigung der DB Netz AG (UiG) und einer Zustimmung im Einzelfall (ZiE) durch das Eisenbahn‐Bundesamt. Insgesamt wurden 126 Lager dieses Typs eingebaut, die seit Dezember 2014 im Betrieb sind.
Im Zuge des Ausbaus der Wasserstraßenverbindung Hannover‐Magdeburg ist die Strombrücke über die Elbe eines der herausragenden Teilprojekte. Ihre konstruktive Detailausbildung und Tragwerksplanung war für die beim Bau beteiligten Planer eine besondere Herausforderung. Der Beitrag beschreibt die konstruktive Detailausbildung und geht auf besondere Aspekte bei der Tragwerksplanung ein.
Während des geplanten konventionellen Rückbaus der Salzbachtalbrücken, zweier Autobahnbrücken der BAB A 66 im Wiesbadener Stadtteil Biebrich, versagte am 18. Juni 2021 ein Rollenlager des Südüberbaus. Der Überbau senkte sich auf einen Pfeiler und drückte ihn zur Seite; ferner entstanden Risse im Überbau. Da die Standsicherheit nicht mehr gewährleistet war, wurden die Brücken sowie die darunter verlaufende Mainzer Straße und die Taunus‐Eisenbahn Richtung Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof gesperrt. Um möglichst schnell die daraus resultierenden erheblichen Verkehrsbehinderungen zu beseitigen, wurde kurzfristig ein Sprengabbruch beider Brücken geplant und durchgeführt. Aufgrund der beengten Platzverhältnisse und schützenswerter Infrastruktur in unmittelbarer Nähe der Abbruchobjekte sah das Konzept vor, zunächst die Südbrücke mittels Vertikalkollaps zu sprengen und anschließend die Nordbrücke mittels Kippkollaps auf die Südbrücke niederzulegen. Die Sprengung der Salzbachtalbrücken erfolgte am 6. November 2021 mit 204 kg Sprengstoff. Alle Pfeiler der Südbrücke knickten planmäßig in Richtung Westen aus, sodass der Überbau exakt senkrecht abstürzte. Die Nordbrücke folgte 3 Sekunden später und kippte planmäßig nach Süden. In diesem Beitrag werden die Historie des ursprünglich geplanten konventionellen Rückbaus, die Havarie sowie die Sprengabbruchplanung und ‐durchführung der Brücken erörtert.
1992 fiel die Entscheidung, den Lehrter Bahnhof zum zentralen Bahnhof des Berliner Schienennetzes auszubauen. Im Mittelpunkt des Bahnhofs kreuzen sich die unterirdischen Nord‐Süd‐Fernbahngleise mit der in Ost‐West‐Richtung verlaufenden oberirdischen Trasse der Stadtbahn. Es wird über den komplexen Entwurfs‐ und Realisierungsprozeß aus der Sicht der Prüfingenieure berichtet.
