Pulse processing methods are very useful to improve CdZnTe detector performances. They allow a fine-tuned compensation of charge loss and provide knowledge on interaction location. We present a theoretical framework for the optimization of bi-parametric systems. A refined digital-based bi-parametric system allowing identification of multiple interaction events is presented and results are discussed.
