Abstract:Pulse processing methods are very useful to improve CdZnTe detectors performances. They allow a fine-tuned compensation of charge loss and bring knowledge on interaction position. We present a theoretical framework for the optimization of bi-parametric systems. A refined digital-based biparametric system allowing identification of multiple interactions events is presented and results are discussed.Index Terms-pulse processing, CdZnTe, gamma-ray detectors, bi-parametric spectrum, digital signal processing.
