The lifetimes and the magnetic moments of the two excited 62Cu states at 40.84 and 390.19 keV are investigated by time differential perturbed angular distribution measurements of the delayed y-rays following the nuclear reactions 61Ni(d, n) and 62Ni (p, n). The results are: r=6.7_ 0.5 nsec,/t= 1.32_ 0.03 n. m. for the 2 + state at 40.84 keV, and T= 16.0_ 0.3 nsec,/t=2.00+ 0.01 n. m. for the 3 + state at 390.19 keV.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
