O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a literatura sobre a precarização do trabalho e a saúde do trabalhador, vislumbrando as perspectivas de investigação/intervenção. Para tanto, foi realizada uma busca por artigos na Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde (BVS), seguida de uma análise crítica. Definidos os critérios de busca e seleção, foram selecionados 22 artigos para análise. A literatura consultada traz importantes contribuições sobre a relação entre a precarização do trabalho e a saúde do trabalhador, sobretudo para os trabalhadores da saúde, ratificando a amplificação desse fenômeno ante a reestruturação produtiva. Destacaram-se produções das áreas da Psicologia, Enfermagem e Saúde Coletiva, mas com substancial incorporação de categorias teóricas da Sociologia do Trabalho. Por outro lado, categorias teóricas de clássicos da Saúde do Trabalhador e Saúde Coletiva de base marxista podem, ainda, ser recuperadas com maior ênfase, a fim de elucidar os efeitos específicos do mundo do trabalho na saúde. As investigações daqui em diante devem focalizar na questão da uberização, mas sem isolar esse fenômeno da dinâmica geral de reprodução do capital. Faz-se necessário o fortalecimento de caminhos investigativos em uma perspectiva crítica, vislumbrando a transformação do processo de degradação da saúde, desde as suas raízes.
Objetivo: Analisar o perfil epidemiológico dos indivíduos com ideação suicida por intoxicação exógena por uso de agroquímicos agrícolas na região Nordeste entre os anos de 2009 a 2019. Método: Trata-se de um estudo epidemiológico descritivo, quantitativo, retrospectivo, com base documental. A pesquisa foi realizada no Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação (SINAN) em setembro de 2020. Foram utilizados - Nordeste como região de notificação, Agrotóxico agrícola como agente tóxico, tentativa de suicídio como circunstância a ser considerado, o período de notificação dos casos entre 2009 e 2019 e as variáveis sociodemográficas gênero, raça, escolaridade, faixa etária e zona residencial. Foi realizada a tabulação e a análise dos dados utilizando o programa Microsoft Excel 2016 para cálculo de coeficiente de incidência e o Teste de Análise de Variância (ANOVA) para analisar a significância das variáveis. Resultados: Foram notificados 5.796 casos de tentativa de suicídio (TS) por intoxicação exógena por agrotóxicos na região em questão. Houve predominância de homens pardos, com idades entre 15 a 39 anos, ensino fundamental incompleto e residentes da área urbana. Houve aumento no número de idosos suscetíveis a esse agravo entre 2016 e 2018. Conclusão: É necessário amplo controle do comércio ilegal de agrotóxicos e fichas de notificação de TS com dados mais completos para que contribuam com estratégias para reduzir esse agravo.
Objetivo: Analisar a utilização do biomonitoramento como ferramenta de avaliação da saúde de trabalhadores rurais que fazem o uso de agrotóxicos. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão da literatura, com buscas realizadas em outubro de 2020, nas bases de dados BVS, Pubmed, Scopus, Science Direct e Web of Science. Foram incluídos artigos sem restrição de idioma, disponíveis integralmente, publicados nos últimos cinco anos. Já os critérios de exclusão foram duplicatas, artigos que não abordavam o tema e revisões. Resultados: Foram encontrados 113 artigos, dos quais 10 atenderam aos critérios e foram incluídos nesta revisão. Nestes, os materiais biológicos citados e usados na avaliação biológica foram sangue, urina e células epiteliais bucais. Nessas amostras foram avaliadas a atividade enzimática (acetilcolinesterase e butirilcolinesterase), danos no DNA e creatinina, como importantes biomarcadores da exposição a agrotóxicos. Conclusão: Portanto, o monitoramento biológico se apresenta como uma ferramenta eficaz na avaliação da saúde de trabalhadores rurais, podendo servir de base para subsidiar programas públicos de saúde voltados para essa população. Desta forma, se faz necessário maiores investimentos em pesquisas para aprimorar o uso do biomonitoramento e servir de base para programas públicos voltados à saúde da população rural.
