Les avancées technologiques de l’internet et des réseaux sociaux ont modifié la perception parentale du soutien social postnatal pour les parents et les professionnels. Cet article propose d’analyser leur influence sur l’accession à la parentalité. Le suivi médical est présent au cours de la grossesse, qu’en est-il après ? Les mères se retrouvent souvent seules pour s’occuper de leur enfant et accompagner les étapes du développement de celui-ci. Elles souffrent d’isolement et de solitude. À partir d’une vignette clinique, je décrirai comment les difficultés et anxiétés maternelles s’expriment à travers une solitude psychique pouvant fragiliser la construction de la parentalité. L’article s’intéresse au phénomène de mise en ligne sur internet et les réseaux sociaux : aurait-il un lien avec la solitude psychique et le vécu d’isolement social des mères concernées ? La communauté virtuelle serait alors invitée à jouer un rôle de soutien dans la construction de la parentalité.
