Os alimentos transgênicos vêm ganhando mais espaço na agricultura brasileira, principalmente na região do Cerrado. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a percepção e aceitabilidade da população tocantinense a respeito dos alimentos transgênicos. Aplicou-se questionários contendo 29 questões para 119 pessoas residentes em Gurupi-TO e outras cidades da região sul do Estado. Os questionários foram aplicados nos anos de 2016 a 2018 e analisados pelo método estatístico descritivo. Obteve-se um grau de confiança de 92,9% e margem de erro de 3,15 pontos percentuais. Observou-se que, 74% dos entrevistados conheciam a definição de alimentos transgênicos, 69% afirmaram que optariam por um alimento não transgênico. No entanto, 74% afirmam não leem o rótulo para verificar se o alimento é transgênico. Quanto ao consumo de alimentos transgênicos, 89% acreditam que a população consome sem conhecimento prévio. Portanto, nota-se a necessidade de inserção da população nos debates referentes aos transgênicos, bem como uma maior divulgação científica e midiática a respeito do tema para sanar as dúvidas da população sobre assunto.
No ensino de Matemática para alunos do Ensino Médio Integrado (EMI) são poucos registros que abordam uma sequência didática com a utilização da representação semiótica para a língua natural dos estudantes surdos, a Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras), oficializada em 2002 (BRASIL, 2002; 2005). Este trabalho contempla essa lacuna e faz parte de uma dissertação de mestrado, que tem como objetivo contribuir com a acessibilidade no ensino de função polinomial de primeiro grau para alunos surdos do EMI, usando a Teoria das Situações Didáticas de Brousseau (1986) e a criação de um Guia de orientações aos professores de Matemática com práticas inclusivas, capazes de orientar as práticas educativas dos docentes que atuam na educação de surdos. O estudo é de natureza qualitativa, com revisão bibliográfica, estudo documental e análise da percepção de docentes que lecionam a disciplina de Matemática com alunos surdos no 1º ano no EMI, sobre o material produzido. Voltamo-nos para a análise da atividade docente no ensino de matemática a surdos em vários campi que ofertam o Ensino Médio Integrado em diferentes institutos federais do país. Nossa metodologia tem como pressupostos as contribuições da Engenharia Didática de Artigue (1988; 1996). Os resultados esperados deste estudo são: contribuir com o conhecimento em comunicação em Libras aos professores de Matemática desde sua formação na graduação; promover o reconhecimento sobre as especificidades de aprendizagem dos estudantes surdos, que se utilizam do canal viso-espacial, necessitando de estratégias didáticas pensadas em seus processos de construção de conhecimentos; a construção de atividades que não busquem apenas a adaptação de conhecimentos, mas que se voltem diretamente a estes estudantes, tendo em vista a atual inclusão da Educação Bilíngue na Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional (LDB) (BRASIL, 1996; 2021); e a construção de vínculos efetivos entre alunos surdos e seus professores. Este estudo busca contribuir com a temática por meio da criação de uma sequência didática capaz de qualificar o processo de ensino de Matemática para estudantes surdos, voltada para a formação de professores, com a elaboração de um guia de orientações, que acompanhará o material pertinente à sequência. Buscamos contribuir para reflexões que possam embasar a elaboração de currículos do EMI mais inclusivos e acessíveis.
