The WHO, by classifying the present global moment as a pandemic of COVID-19, the new coronavirus has become very present in all work and academic environments, boosting and mobilizing countless professionals and researchers to raise information and evidence about some form or virus control. The present study aims to verify the relevance in the literature presented on the mental health of nursing professionals. Through a systematic review with the descriptors "nursing", "mental health" and "covid-19", using the double-blind method, ensuring the systematic integrity of the review. In the first moment of the study, 389 studies were found, applying the exclusion criteria, an amount of 380 studies were excluded from the research, and only 9 articles were selected that met all the criteria established by the researchers. It was evidenced that nursing professionals have been affected by emotional disorders with manifestations of fear, anxiety, stress, depression, Burnout syndrome. Thus, it is possible to affirm that there is an urgent need for political and administrative measures that value care for these professionals who work on the front line in the fight against COVID-19.
A OMS ao classificar o presente momento global como pandemia do COVID-19, o novocoronavírus tornou-se muito presente em todos os ambientes laborais e acadêmicos,impulsionando e mobilizando inúmeros profissionais e pesquisadores a levantar informações eevidencias sobre alguma forma de controle do vírus. O presente estudo tem como objetivoverificar a relevância na literatura apresentada sobre a saúde mental dos profissionais deenfermagem. Através de uma revisão sistemática com os descritores “enfermagem”, “saúdemental” e “covid-19”, utilizando o método duplo-cego, garantindo a integridade sistemática darevisão. No primeiro momento do estudo foram encontrados 389 trabalhos, aplicando oscritérios de exclusão, foram excluídos do estudo um montante de 380 trabalhos, sendoselecionados apenas 9 artigos que atendiam a todos os critérios estabelecidos pelospesquisadores. Ficou evidenciado que os profissionais de enfermagem têm sido acometidos pordistúrbios emocionais com manifestações de medo, ansiedade, estresse, quadros de depressão,síndrome de Burnout. Assim, é possível afirmar que urge de medidas político-administrativasque valorizem os cuidados para esses profissionais que atuam na linha de frente no combate aoCOVID-19.
