PurposeThis paper examines how market orientation and competence of knowledge reinforce the innovation and in turn improve the business performance.Design/methodology/approachThis research applied research design with quantitative approach based on positivism philosophy, that is, research aimed to test the theory and data which is general to produce findings that are special through hypothesis test. This study was supplemented by field studies as a necessary source of data in the form of trends, attitudes, opinions, perceptions of owners, managers or senior employees of SMEs in the textile industry in Bali, related to the variables used in this study.Findings(1) Market orientation influences business performance, (2) competence of knowledge moderates the influence of market orientation on business performance, (3) innovation moderates the influence of market orientation on business performance.Originality/value(1) Novelty of this research is developing the concept of competence of knowledge associated with business performance in which this relationship has not yet been expressed. (2) Building the concept of innovation development of small-scale industry based on the market orientation. (3) Developing the concept of innovative development of small and medium enterprises of textile industry based on competence of knowledge. (4) Investigating the concept of market orientation and competence of knowledge in an integrated and holistic way to strengthen the innovation and business performance of SMEs of the textile industry in Bali.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor Gaya Kepemimpinan, Motivasi Dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Aparatur Pemerintah Kecamatan Tamalanrea Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini melibatkan Aparatur Pemerintah Kecamatan Tamalanrea Kota Makassar yang berjumlah 65 orang, dan seluruhnya menjadi responden dengan menggunakan model analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Gaya Kepemimpinan, Motivasi Dan Disiplin Kerja, secara simultan memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Aparatur Pemerintah Kecamatan Tamalanrea Kota Makassar. Sedang secara parsial ditemukan bahwa faktor gaya kepemimpinan yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan yang paling dominan terhadap kinerja Aparatur Pemerintah Kecamatan Tamalanrea Kota Makassar. Peneliti menyarankan bahwa Aparatur Pemerintah Kecamatan Tamalanrea Kota Makassar dapat lebih memperhatikan faktor yang dapat mendorong kinerja pegawai seperti disiplin terhadap aturan serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang baik.
This study aims to analyze the effect of recognition factors of competency certification that affect job satisfaction in mining companies. The design of this study is a survey to obtain and collect primary data so that it can explain the influence between variables. This research was conducted at several mining companies in the Eastern Indonesia Region. The study population was employees of three mining companies, then sampling systematically randomized. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis to explain the influence between variables. The results showed that the variables of education, professional, industry, and self-taught recognition had a significant effect on job satisfaction. The contribution of this study explains that the recognition adopted from the recognition theory has given a large degree of influence on emotions and positive attitudes for employees.
The main problem of this research is how the efforts or ways to overcome the motivation and learning outcomes of students in grade VII5 of SMP Negeri 17 Makassar are very low, in which case the researcher will conduct an experiment by applying the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) Approach. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which uses a Kemmis and Tanggart model consisting of 2 cycles. Data collection methods used were observation, learning achievement tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis, which provides an overview of the results of research by describing students' motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics based on data that has been obtained during the study. The results of this study indicate that an increase in motivation and mathematical learning outcomes after the implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach with a very significant increase is the average score of students' learning motivation that is 67.74 in the pre-cycle stage, increasing to 73.51 in the first cycle and increased again to 78.80 in the second cycle. As for student learning outcomes namely 39.40 in the pre-cycle stage increased to 47.23 in the first cycle and increased again to 75.66 in the second cycle. In the second cycle phase of teaching and learning activities is more directed in the sense that it is not rigid when compared to the first cycle, this is due to the first cycle of students and educators not familiar with the approach applied, but the motivation and learning outcomes of students in the first cycle there has been an increase when compared to motivation and value of student learning outcomes on the initial test even though the improvement that occurred was less significant.
