Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan anak melakukan kekerasan seksual di Kabupaten Konawe serta mengetahui upaya penanggulangan yang dilakukan oleh aparat penegak hukum di Kabupaten Konawe terhadap anak sebagai pelaku kekerasan seksual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian empirik, adapun lokasi penelitian yaitu di Kabupaten Konawe khususnya Polres Konawe dengan menggunakan dua teknik pengumpulan data yakni, penelitian lapangan berupa wawancara atau tanya jawab langsung kepada pihak terkait yaitu aparat Kepolisian Resort Konawe, metode selanjutnya, yaitu mengumpulkan dan membaca berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang dibahas. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh akan disajikan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini, yaitu disimpulkan bahwa faktor-faktor penyebab anak melakukan kekerasan seksual di Kabupaten Konawe terdiri atas 4 (empat) faktor, yaitu faktor pergaulan bebas, faktor Rendahnya pendidikan, faktor lingkungan serta kurangnya pemahaman terhadap hukum. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan oleh aparat Kepolisian Resort Konawe adalah dengan upaya pre-emtif (pencegahan) yaitu melakukan sosialisasi terkait maraknya kekerasan seksual ke sekolah-sekolah mulai tingkat PAUD sampai dengan SMA dan bekerja sama dengan para kepala desa melakukan penyuluhan hukum kepada masyarakat. Upaya preventif (upaya pencegahan lanjutan dari upaya pre-emtif) yaitu bekerja sama dengan pemberdayaan perempuan dalam melakukan penyuluhan kepada orang tua dan anak. Dan upaya represif (penegakan hukum) adalah melalui proses hukum agar para pelaku atau calon pelaku jera untuk melakukan kejahatan, pelaku anak yang terbukti melakukan kekerasan seksual akan dititipkan di Rutan Konawe, Lembaga Pemasyarakatan koanwe atau tergantung vonis oleh hakim pengadilan.
