The COVID-19 pandemic outbreak threatens not only physical health, but also the psychological health of society. Psychological effects have mild to severe impacts. Adolescents are still classified as unstable age, thus they are easily shaken psychologically, experiencing excess anxiety and fear of contracting the virus. Anxiety in adolescents is a natural reaction in this COVID-19 pandemic situation. However, if this situation lasts for a long time, it may cause psychological problems. This study used a descriptive quantitative design with a survey method. Population sampling used non-probability sampling technique, i.e. purposive sampling, in order to obtain a sample of 95 female teenager respondents. This study aims to investigate the anxiety and compliant levels of the female teenager related to new habits during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results showed that the majority of respondents were adolescents with a mild (80%), followed by moderate (8.4%), and severe (10.5%) level of anxiety. Based on these data, it means that teenagers currently have a fairly good level of stress management, although there are still some teenagers who experience severe level of anxiety. The possible cause of this condition was the abundance of information about the corona virus, which had a negative impact. Indeed, we have to update our information as an effort to remain vigilant. However, continuous exposure will have an impact on mental health, in which resulted in stress, anxiety, panic, and fear. Compliant of the female teenagers to new habits during the New Normal period was achieved by washed our hands (61.1%), always using masks (86.3%), always applying social distancing (50.5%), and staying at home (55.8%). The role of adolescents in new habits is urgently needed to prevent transmission of COVID-19.

HIGHLIGHT1. Due to Covid-19 pandemics, anxiety among pregnant mothers is increasing and good preparation for childbirth is needed.2. A survey was carried out to find pregnant mothers level of anxiety and preparation for childbirth during the pandemics.3. Most of the pregnant mothers were severely anxious, but most of them also felt prepared for childbirth. No relationship was found between anxiety and preparedness for childbirth. ABSTRACTObjective: Corona Virus (COVID-19) currently occurring in Indonesia greatly affects the health of the entire community, both physically and psychologically. This causes increased maternal anxiety during pregnancy. Therefore, good preparation for childbirth is needed so that mothers receive sufficient information and receive safe services from exposure to viruses.Materials and Methods: This research used an analytic survey method with a cross sectional approach. Done by distributing closed questions on online questionnaires to pregnant women in Surabaya through social media networks. The sampling technique used simple random sampling and managed to collect a sample of 90 people. Results: This research showed that pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic in Surabaya experienced 13% mild anxiety, 24% moderate anxiety, 63% severe anxiety. Preparation for childbirth during the COVID-19 pandemic in Surabaya was 20% unprepared and 80% ready. Conclusion: There is no relationship between the anxiety experienced by pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic and their preparation for delivery. Pregnant women were worried that they can be exposed to the virus. Therefore, they can prepare for childbirth properly so that they can go through delivery safely and comfortably.
Objectives: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder with still unknown pathophysiology. Insulin resistance is one of major factors that affect the pathogenesis of PCOS (69%). Green tea has compounds that can be used to improve the condition of insulin resistance, so that folliculogenesis may recur in the case of PCOS.Materials and Methods: The subjects in this study were rats which were divided into 5 groups, consisting of 2 groups serving as a control group (negative and positive) and 3 groups as the treatment group. Each group consisted of 7 experimental animals. Negative control group was given with distilled water for 14 days. Positive control group was given with injections of testosterone propionate 1 mg/100 g BW intramuscularly in the thigh for 28 days to obtain a model of insulin-resistant PCOS and the distilled water was used as therapy. The treatment groups were given wth injections of testosterone propionate 1 mg/100gBW intra-muscularly for 28 days and then treated with green tea extract in doses of each 200 mg/kg, 400 mg/kg, and 800 mg/kg for 14 days. Rats were dissected on day 42 for harvesting the right and left ovary and heart blood sample was taken for examining insulin levels. Results: The results showed that administration of green tea extract on K5 can reduce insulin levels and increase folliculogenesis significantly (significance p <0.05).Conclusion: Green tea extract can reduce insulin levels and increase folliculogenesis in rats. PCOS - Insulin resistance at a dose of 800 mg/kg.

Background : Midwifery services are provided by midwives with conditions and licenses by applicable regulations and laws to practice midwifery. Midwife can combine conventional and complementary therapies in providing health services.

Objectives: Complementary therapy in midwifery services is a choice for pregnant women, maternity, postpartum, infants, and toddlers to improve health status with promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative efforts with high quality, safety, and effectiveness. In addition, complementary therapies can reduce medical intervention.

Methods: The research method used is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out by survey without intervention on research subjects. The survey was carried out in two stages, first by distributing questionnaires to collect quantitative data, then continued with the second stage, namely in-depth interviews with subjects who met the criteria from quantitative data obtained by the researcher.

Results: This study shows that the independent practice of midwives in Surabaya is as much as 54% (44 people) have applied. Antenatal care is one of the health services provided by midwives to monitor the health welfare of the mother and fetus. One of the competencies possessed by a midwife is to provide obstetric care for pregnancy which includes history taking, physical examination, laboratory, and counseling. The limited learning media for pregnancy phantom can make students less understanding of pregnancy examinations. For this reason, researchers made an innovative EMAS (Economic Maternity Simulator) learning media. This research is a type of quantitative research. The method used is an experimental research method with a quasi experimental research design. In this design the treatment and control groups were not randomly selected. Data analysis used Non-paired T-Test. The results of the study, it was found that there was a difference in the average score of prenatal care skills before and after using EMAS of 3.30 with a p value of 0.011 (p <0.05), 95% CI 0744-5.907. Statistically there is a significant difference and it can be concluded that EMAS has an effect on improving prenatal examination practicum skills.
