<p class="0abstract">The advantages of mobile learning and the possibility of universal access to educational materials have a downside in the form of a possible lack of communication between the student, his/her teachers, and course mates. In this context, collaborative teaching methods can be applied to support learners in solving educational challenges. The objective of this work was to analyze the effectiveness of collaborative approaches in mobile learning. The research methods included two stages: an experiment on the introduction of collaborative mobile learning into the educational process and an online sociological survey. The use of the questionnaire method resulted from the need to collect quantitative data and analyze the effectiveness of training by determining the shares of respondents with positive and negative opinions toward m-learning. The examination was conducted in 2020 among 190 undergraduate sociology students studying at three universities of the Russian Federation (Moscow State Pedagogical University, M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University, and Tyumen State University), as well as among 76 undergraduate students of the direction "Education" studying at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The main practical result of this experiment was the introduction of mobile technologies in the previously used e-learning models and learning management systems of the considered educational institutions. The collaborative mobile environment was based on the principles of communication and cooperation of users, mutual learning, and teacher coordination of students' actions. The study confirmed that collaborative mobile learning could be flexibly transited from blended to distance learning models and vice versa. The analysis of the survey outcomes proved the validity of eight proposed hypotheses, both in terms of mobile learning impact on the quality of education and the influence of the collaborative environment on the development of students' competencies. The practical significance of research findings is in the fact that they allow the effective implementation of collaborative mobile learning technologies to form students' professional competencies.</p>
In market conditions, the state bore a heavy burden of functions that might be too heavy and sometimes almost unmanageable because of historical development, deepened by the realities of the world economy, as well as various crisis phenomena repeatedly analysed in this and past centuries. At the same time, combining the possibilities of state regulation and market opportunities of business entities, it is possible to achieve significant results by solving a wide range of issues regarding the provision of public services. The research aims to form the potential structure of the European Union development and global practice in the form of development of publicprivate partnership projects. It is determined by the need that we can agree that the basis of publicprivate partnership (PPP) relations is the interdependence of business and government regulation which is reflected in the existence of the relations between the representatives of public and private sectors. The result of the research demonstrates that the PPP is a form of cooperation in which the state and private sector jointly implement socially significant projects based on the agreement on the distribution of tasks and risks. Indeed, it is an institutional alliance between the state and business established for a certain period for the implementation of a specific project and ceases to exist after its implementation. To accomplish the research objectives, we have developed a methodological approach to the coordination of the economic interests of the PPP participants. The approach includes the implementation of multivariate calculations of the PPP project internal cost using the method of discounted cash flows, revision of the agreement terms and the choice of such values of the PPP agreement parameters.
The study describes the structure of media literacy and its key aspects: digital literacy, content interpretation, content generation and digital awareness. The results of the survey at the end of the training course confirmed the effectiveness of educational practices on digital media platforms in developing media competencies. According to self-assessment results, learning activities have improved digital skills. The study made it possible to determine the key success factors for the development and consolidation of modern media competencies in the context of online learning. The involvement of each student in the generation of educational content has formed the teaching tactics for the stable development of target media competencies and skills. Group interactions of students associated with the course met student demand for socialisation and contributed to educational progress. It was concluded that media literacy is the result of well-planned and well-organised practical activities of students in the digital media space.
Abstract. The establishment of scientific foundations for the integration of information technologies and innovative educational processes in student learning activities entails the necessity of creating a basis for transitioning from information processes to information technologies. The research aims to study the effectiveness of innovative information technologies in higher education and assess student involvement in using innovative information technologies. The study relies on the experimental survey method to assess respondents’ involvement in the use of innovative information technologies. In addition, the modeling method was used to increase students’ motivation to study through visualization and other modern technologies. A training program based on visualization and innovative information technologies aimed to study their impact on the teaching process in higher education was developed. The study results show that visualization technologies improve students’ intrinsic motivation to learn. The practical significance and further research prospects are due to the possibility of applying the training program developed in the study in higher education. The program can also become the basis for developing new training programs to study other subjects as it is not tied to studying a certain discipline and requires only computer skills.
