Resumo: Estudo com objetivo de avaliar a presença de níveis de estresse geral e parental em pais de crianças e adolescentes com síndrome de Down. Trata-se de um estudo transversal e analítico, realizado em cinco Instituições que atendem pessoas com deficiência em Goiânia, Goiás. A amostra foi composta por 40 pais. Instrumentos de avaliação do estresse: Inventário de Sintomas de Estresse para Adultos de Lipp (ISSL), Parenting Stress Index Short Form (PSI/SF). Quanto à avaliação do estresse geral, por meio do ISSL: a maioria dos pais não estava estressada. Quanto à manifestação do estresse parental: o escore médio do estresse dos pais foi baixo. Entretanto, nas três subescalas e no questionário total, 35% dos pais apresentaram níveis de estresse considerado preocupante. Pais de adolescentes apresentaram escore médio mais alto do que pais de crianças, na subescala interação disfuncional genitor-criança (p=0,03). Houve maior proporção de pais de adolescentes com nível de estresse considerado preocupante (n= 54,50%, p=0,008). A comparação entre os dados socioeconômicos e o estresse parental revelou que o estresse é maior em pais com menos escolaridade. Os resultados chamam atenção para a necessidade de assistir a saúde emocional de pais de filhos com síndrome de Down, com foco para os pais de adolescentes.Palavras-chave: Pai. Síndrome de Down. Estresse. Abstract:The aim of this study is analysing the presence of worried levels of general and parental stress in parents who has children and teenagers with down´s syndrome. This is a transversal and analytic study that happened in five institutions that assist people with deficiency in Goiânia, Goiás. The sample consists of forty parents. Instruments of analyses of the stress: List of symptoms of stress to adults of LIPP (ISSL). The analyses of the general stress happened through of LIPP test: most of the parents wasn´t stressed but those who had stress were in the phase of resistance. In respect of the manifestation of the parental stress: the average level of stress of the parents was low in the three subscales and in the entire questionaire, however, 35% of the parents showed worried levels of stress. Parents of teenagers showed average level higher than the parents of children in the subscale dysfunctional interaction genitor-child. There was bigger proportion of parents of teenagers they have worried levels of stress. Comparison between the socioeconomic data and the parental stress revealed that the stress is bigger in parents who have studied a little bit. The results show that it´s necessary to help the emotional health of parents and children with down´s syndrome with the focus to the parents of teenagers.
O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o uso e os impactos da telessaúde em um Centro Especializado em Reabilitação (CER), sob a perspectiva dos profissionais de saúde, durante a pandemia da covid-19. Trata-se de um estudo transversal analítico realizado com profissionais da saúde de um CER. Utilizou-se questionário desenvolvido pelos pesquisadores sobre o perfil sociodemográfico e a percepção do profissional em relação aos atendimentos realizados à distância. Os dados foram analisados com pacote estatístico SPSS (26,0). Foi adotado nível de significância de 5% (p < 0,05). Amostra composta por 79 profissionais, a maioria formados há mais de dez anos, sem experiências com telessaúde. Houve relação significativa entre quantidade de ferramentas utilizadas com grau de dificuldade, e presença de treinamento com a autossatisfação sobre o atendimento. A escolha da ferramenta está intrinsecamente ligada à disponibilidade, à habilidade e à tarefa a ser realizada. O treinamento prévio demonstrou redução de barreiras e satisfação profissional.
Objetivo: Analisar a evolução da qualidade de vida de cuidadores de pacientes com Distrofia Muscular de Duchenne (DMD) após um ano de reabilitação, segundo o grau de estadiamento da doença. Métodos: Estudo quantitativo e longitudinal, realizado em uma instituição de reabilitação de Goiânia - Goiás. A amostra foi composta por 27 pacientes com DMD e seus cuidadores familiares. Os instrumentos aplicados foram: ficha de perfil sociodemográfico; Escala Vignos; e Medida de Qualidade de Vida da Organização Mundial de Saúde (WHOQOL- bref). Resultados: Média de idade dos cuidadores foi de 39,44 anos e dos pacientes de 14,59 anos, a média da Escala de Vignos foi de 7,59 pontos. A Escala de Vignos apresentou piora significativa após um ano (p=<0,001). Com relação ao WHOQOL-bref, o domínio meio ambiente mostrou as piores médias nas duas coletas, e o domínio físico as melhores. Não houve diferença significativa nas médias dos domínios e escore geral do WHOQOL-bref após um ano. Houve piora nos domínios psicológico e social apenas nos cuidadores cujos filhos eram mais graves. Conclusão: Cuidadores de pacientes mais graves, que encontram-se em fase de estadiamento da doença mais avançada, necessitam de um cuidado multiprofissional diferenciado, pois foram os que apresentaram pior qualidade de vida após um ano de acompanhamento.
Objetivo: Relacionar a capacidade funcional de pacientes com Distrofia Muscular de Duchenne com a sobrecarga dos seus cuidadores familiares. Métodos: Estudo transversal com amostra composta por 35 pacientes e seus cuidadores familiares, de um centro de reabilitação de Goiânia-GO. Foram utilizados para avaliação da capacidade funcional a Escala de Vignos, Medida da Função Motora, Índice de Barthel e Escala Egen Klassification e para avaliação da sobrecarga o Burden Interview. Resultados: Os cuidadores estavam com sobrecarga moderada, com média de 23,6 (±10,3). A pontuação média dos instrumentos demonstrou que os pacientes estavam em fase avançada de estadiamento da doença e prejuízo da capacidade funcional. Não foi encontrada relação significativa entre a sobrecarga dos cuidadores e a capacidade funcional dos pacientes. Conclusão: O cuidador está diretamente ligado à função de zelar do paciente, portanto a equipe multiprofissional precisa se atentar também à saúde mental deste, oferecendo suporte para intervenções especializadas.
