Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi, faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran matematika SMP di Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi model discrepancy model dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian melibatkan sampel sebanyak 22 SMP untuk pengumpulan data kuantitatif dan 6 SMP untuk pengumpulan data kualitatif. Hasil evaluasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran matematika SMP di Kota Yogyakarta termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Adapun faktor pendukung adalah (1) visi dan misi sekolah; (2) adanya peraturan dan tata tertib yang telah diatur sekolah, (3) dukungan dan kerjasama yang baik antar warga sekolah; (4) kondisi siswa yang memiliki dasar karakter baik; (5) contoh perilaku positif guru sebagai teladan. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah (1) guru belum memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang konsep pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran matematika; (2) guru mengalami kesulitan dalam mengidentifikasi nilai karakter dari kompetensi dasar pada mata pelajaran matematika; (3) guru belum dapat mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan baik; (4) sarana dan prasarana yang belum lengkap; (5) dokumentasi penilaian sikap siswa masih lemah. Character Education Implementation in Mathematics Teaching and Learning of Junior High School in Yogyakarta AbstractThe aim of this research was to describe the implementation, supporting factors and obstacles the implementation of character education in mathematics teaching and learning of junior high school in Yogyakarta. This research is an evaluation research discrepancy model with the quantitative and qualitative approach. The study involved 22 samples of SMP for quantitative data collection and 6 SMP for qualitative data collection. The results from this study revealed that character education implementation in mathematics teaching and learning of junior high schools in Yogyakarta was good. Supporting factors were: (1) the vision and mission of the school; (2) ground rules that have been designed by the schools; (3) support and cooperation among school members; (4) student’s condition who have a basic good character; and (5) examples of positive behavior of teachers as role models. Obstacles were: (1) teachers do not have enough understanding of character education especially in the implementation in mathematics teaching and learning processes; (2) teachers have difficulties to identify the character values from the basic competence of mathematics; (3) teachers have not been able to implement character education integrated to mathematics teaching and learning processes properly; (4) poor teaching and learning facilities in some schools; and (5) poor documentation of students’ character assessment.
The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze Leadership, Compensation, Work Discipline, Motivation and Employee Performance. The population used in this study is the Regional Office X of the Denpasar State Civil Service Agency staff of the with 85 employees. The sample in this study is the entire population because the number of employees is less than 100. Data collection is done using the questionnaire method. The analysis technique used is PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of the study showed that Leadership, Work Discipline, Motivation had a significant positive effect on Compensation and Employee Performance. This research is expected to be a reference and consideration for the Regional Office X of the Denpasar State Civil Service Agency to provide opportunities for employees to develop their ability to perform well and facilitate employees in increasing work motivation.
This research discloses how character education builds students’ character at SekolahAlam Minangkabau and SekolahAlamAr-Royyan Padang, so students not only have knowledge capabilities but also provide character social attitudes. This is a qualitative typified research. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The validity of the data was examined through the triangulation method while Miles and Huberman’s theory of analysis were used in analyzing the data. The results of the research suggest that: The characters of the students in both schools are religious, tolerant, obedient, diligent, creative, independent, curious, communicative, ecofriendly, and responsive. The students’ character is built through macro and micro strategies. The varieties of the character education used in both schools include the curriculum, facility, educational program, extracurricular as well as the time and the way the character education is implemented. The students’ parents view the character education as a support for them in developing their children’s personality,itinfluences the students’ daily activities outside the schools,and moreover, it alsoestablishes a good communication between the teacher and the students’ parents.
Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembinaan prestasi cabang olahraga pencak silat PPLPD di Kabupten Musi Banyuasin mengenai Organisasi, Sumber Daya Manusia, Sarana dan Prasaran, Program Latihan, Pendanaan, dan Prestasi Atlet yang merupakan faktor utama penyelenggaraan pembinaan prestasi yang berada di PPLPD Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dengan model Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Pengurus, Pelatih, Atlet, Orang Tua dan Masyarakat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik Triangulasi Data. Analisis data dengan Pengumpulan Data, Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data, dan Penarikan Kesimpulan Data. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah pembinaan cabang olahraga pencak silat PPLPD Musi Banyuasin berjalan dengan baik. Melalui proses prekrutan atlet serta memberikan jadwal latihan atlet untuk menunjang proses pencapaian prestasi atlet PPLPD Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Program latihan dirancang oleh pelatih mulai dari tahapan persiapan (umum-khusus), tahapan Pra-kompetisi, dan tahapan Transisi. Susunan organisasi telah terstruktur dibawah naungan DISPOPAR Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, Sarana dan prasaran yang ada di PPLPD pencak silat Musi Banyuasin sudah baik. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas saranan dan prasarana PPLPD Musi Banyuasin sebaiknya ditambahkan Fitnes Center untuk meningkatkan program latihan beban (weigh training).
Character is the essence of every human life. The character of a mature person will have an impact on the preparation of a mature self that is ready to deal with all the challenges and conflicts in life. Character can be developed one of them through education from early childhood to college level. All universities in Indonesia carry out the government's mission to develop character education as a continuation of the development of character education in schools, as well as at Pamulang University. Character education should be planned by formulating in the curriculum, applying it with educational methods, and practiced in the learning process. Economics and Business Mathematics course in D3 Accounting Study Program is also required to be able to integrate character education in the learning process. The planning can be done include: (1) Developing Semester Learning Plan (RPS) is characterized by character education; (2) Assess CPL to determine the character values to be developed; (3) Developing character education model based on character education in Economics and Business Mathematics; (4) Develop active lectures / activities that enable students to have opportunities to internalize values and demonstrate them in appropriate behaviors; (5) Designing tasks that enable students to develop character values; and (6) Designing lecturing evaluations covering cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects.
