Purpose This study aims to explore the factors that can encourage Generation Z to continue using Zakat, Infaq and Sodaqoh (ZIS) digital payments. The factors used to determine the behavioral intention (BI) of Generation Z are adoption readiness (AR), perceived risk (PR), trust (TR) and personal innovativeness (PI). Design/methodology/approach AR (reflected by facilitating condition, social influence, ease of use and usefulness), PR (security risk and privacy risk), PI, TR and BI were tested using structural equation model (with smart PLS analysis tool). Findings AR and BI are influenced by PI. In addition, BI is also influenced by TR, where TR will increase if risk can be minimized. This study was not able to prove the role of risk on BI. Research limitations/implications This result focuses on Generation Z, so future research can compare results between generations. In addition, regulations between countries can affect the results of similar research, and factors that have not been used in this study can be used for future research. Practical implications The results show that several reflective models of AR and PR. By adding the TR factor, this study can be used to understand the attributes of the acceptance of the ZIS digital payment model. On the other hand, this research has practical implications for the success of cashless ZIS payment transactions. Originality/value The model in this study develops an existing acceptance model and uses this model in the ZIS digital payment for Generation Z.
Bank Indonesia as the monetary authority has a role in determining the direction of expansionary and contractionary monetary policy. Monetary policy transmission has an important role in controlling inflation in Indonesia. The role of credit channels and asset prices in the transmission of monetary policy can affect business activities for business people and public actors as consumers and stimulate economic activity. The function of the credit channel and asset prices as an intermediary for monetary policy is to control and minimize information imperfections, the possibility of fraud, and adverse selection. The purpose of this study is to explain the role of credit channels and asset prices in contributing to inflation in the long run. This study uses the VECM method. This study proves that the BI7DayRR, investment credit, working capital credit, JCI and DPK variables have a significant long-term effect on inflation. The important role of Bank Indonesia as the monetary authority is to maintain inflation stability through the credit channel and asset price channel. The importance of continuous coordination between the central government, regulators and the monetary authority, namely Bank Indonesia, in terms of maintaining inflation.
This study aims to analyze the effect of the practice of Human Resource Management (MSDM) applied by schools on the performance of Elementary School Physical Education Teachers. This type of research is an explanatory study with a quantitative approach. The variables in this study include the practice of HRM and the performance of Elementary School Physical Education teachers. This study reached 102 Physical Education teachers at the elementary school level in the Malang Raya area. Data obtained from distributing questionnaires both physically and online. Data analysis was performed using SEM-PLS with WARP PLS 7 software. The results of this study indicate that during the Covid-19 pandemic, HRM practice has no influence on the performance of Elementary School Physical Education Teachers with a significance value of 0.30.
Sports coaches hold integral roles in sports organizations. As important figures for athletes, coaches are responsible for maintaining athletes’ motivation which will drive their performances in matches. To motivate athletes, coaches must possess good competence which reflect their quality as coaches. This study analyzes the effect of coach competency on athlete motivation. Coach competency in this study is represented by four indicators: Motivation Competency, Game-strategy Competency, Technique Competency, and Character-building Competency. Each and every indicator’s effect on athlete motivation was investigated. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire with 42 question items. This study is an explanatory research conducted on 114 student basketball athletes in Indonesia as respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS on the WARP-PLS 7 software. The results of this research show that overall, motivation competency, technique competency, character building competency, and game-strategy competency which represents the coach competency variable have a positive effect on athlete motivation (p<0.05), while motivation competency has no effect on athlete motivation (p>0.05). Game strategy competency, technique competency, and character building competency has positive effects on athlete motivation (p<0.05). This research contributes to increasing scientific knowledge among coaches and athletes about the importance of competence for the motivational aspect. The limitation in this study is that the sample used only comes from basketball athletes so it is not yet known whether there is a similar relationship between the competence and motivation of other sports coaches. Therefore, future research can examine the relationship between the competence and motivation of coaches in sports such as football, volleyball, and handball.
