The goal of this study tested the effectiveness of Mindfulness training to overcome insomnia in college students.The number of participating subjects amounted to 8 people in the weight category, with four people in each group(experiment and control). Treatment was given to subjects in the experimental group as many as four meetings with11 sessions within one month. For control is given a mindfulness diary to find out the emotional condition and sleep of the subject. The study used the Jakarta Psychiatric Study Group – Insomnia Rating Scale as a pre-test and post-test to measure insomnia levels before and after treatment. The data analysis technique used in the study was the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that the experimental group’s results (Mdn=7) were higher than those of the control group (Mdn=15.8). Mann-Whitney’s test results showed a significant difference in pain scores between the experimental and control groups (N experiment = 4, Control = 4, Z =-2,337; p=0.019). This can be seen in the decrease in insomnia score in the experimental group. Mindfulness training proved to be appropriate for overcoming insomnia in college students.
Every individual is certainly inseparable from problems, be it personal problems or social problems that can affect to individual happiness. This problem also occurs in late teenage who are studying in college. In late teenage girls more often experience feelings of sadness, fear, and anxiety. The level of student happiness is influenced by friendship. This is shown by the phenomenon that occurs in students who experience sadness when they have friendship problems. In addition, self-esteem also affects their happiness. This is shown that the student feels less happy when unable to show his existence. This study aims to find out the influence of the quality of friendship and self-esteem on happiness in the students of late teenage. This research uses quantitative research types with survey methods. 228 female students are subject of this study. The scales used in the study are The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ) Scale, The Friendship Quality (FQUA) Scale, and The Self Esteem Inventory (SEI) Scale. The data analysis used in this study is a multiple linear regression test.
This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of murottal Al-Qur'an therapy to reduce the stress work toward the teachers at Muslimat NU 29 Mahkota Kindergarten. Work stress is a reaction or psychological process of someone toward the environmental demands which are considered an unpleasant situation with the abilities that exist in him. This study tried to use the experimental quantitative methods with pre-experimental design research with a population of 20 teachers. The research design used in this study was the One – Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. About the data analysis technique, this study used the Wilcoxon signed rank test The results of statistical analysis showed that there was an effectiveness of murottal Al-Qur'an therapy to reduce work stress. The analysis showed that the experimental group had the experimental group with p-value = 0.012 or p <0.05 that Z count is -2.524 and sig is 0.012 of the Wilcoxon Ranks Test. It means that there was a significantly difference in the experimental group before and after the treatment given. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi murottal Al Qur’an pada penurunan tingkat stress kerja guru di TK Muslimat NU 29 Mahkota. Stres kerja merupakan reaksi atau proses psikologis seseorang terhadap tuntutan lingkungan, yang dipandang sebagai situasi yang tidak nyaman dengan kapasitas yang ada di dalamnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian berbentuk One – Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Teknik purposive sampling, digunakan untuk mendapatkan subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 20 Guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan analisis uji wilcoxon signed rank test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan terapi murottal Al Qur’an terhadapp penurunan tingkat stress guru. Kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan hasil perhitungan uji Wilcoxon Ranks Test didapatkan p-value=0.012 atau p<0.05 bahwa Z hitung adalah -2,524 dan sig adalah 0,012 yaitu ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya perlakuan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh dan mendapatkan 35 seniman teater. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala dukungan sosial yang disusun oleh peneliti dan skala subjective well-being terdiri dari dua subskala, yaitu: Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) dan Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS). Uji Validitas skala menggunakan validitas isi. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik Alpha Cronbach. Hasil analisis data menggunakan teknik Regresi Linier Sederhana. Diketahui bahwa nilai constant sebesar 168.560. Variabel dukungan sosial memiliki arah pengaruh negatif terhadap subjective well being, hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai koefisien proksi sebesar -0.111. Kemudian variabel dukungan sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap subjective well being. Dibuktikan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,621 yang berarti lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dukungan sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap subjective well being pada seniman teater di kota Gresik.
Bullying atau perundungan merupakan perilaku oleh individu atau kelompok, berulang dari waktu ke waktu, yang dengan sengaja menyakiti individu atau kelompok lain baik secara fisik maupun emosinal dan terjadi di mana ada ketidakseimbangan kekuatan yang berbeda antara pelaku dan korban. Beberapa program pencegahan perundungan telah terbukti secara umum efektif dalam mengurangi perudungan di kalangan masyarakat. Namun, efeknya relatif kecil dalam berbagai penelitian eksperimen dan kelompok usia. Program yang lebih intensif dan durasinya lebih lama (baik untuk anak maupun guru) lebih efektif, begitu juga program yang mengandung lebih banyak komponen. Beberapa komponen program dikaitkan dengan ukuran efek yang besar, termasuk pelatihan atau pertemuan orang tua dan pelatihan guru. Hal ini menjadi landasan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang tujuan untuk sosialisasi program pencegahan perundungan berbasis sekolah di SMK Tuban. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan beberapa tahapan, yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan diskusi yang dilakukan, ditemuakn beberapa program yang paling banyak digunakan di Indonesia yaitu program disiplin positif, program ROOTS Indonesia, dan program buddy.
