The article deals with the definition of the concept of coloring, as well as the significance of its role in cultural-oriented units-the realities and ways of their translation. The study was conducted on the basis of the small genres of Kazakh fiction at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st centuries, short stories by Dukenbai Doszhan "Kelinshek Asuy", "Shortanbai", "Kukpar" and their translations into Russian, performed by the native speakers of the translation language "The Pass of a Young Woman" translated by I. Ukhanov, "Shortanbay" and "Kokpar" translated by Z. Nikolaeva. The main research methods were the analytical method and comparative analysis of translations with original prose from Kazakh into Russian. As a result of the research, various definitions of the concept of color were analyzed with the purpose of identifying elements characteristic of the term "realia" ("reality"), and a special role of color in revealing connotative features of realities and, accordingly, methods of transforming such units in the process of artistic translation. The main results of the research presented in the article provide an opportunity to find out how the typical tasks of the artistic translation of the Kazakh realities are implemented to recreate the specific national and cultural background of the Kazakh language picture of the world.
The development of intercultural relations and the globalization of multicultural civilization gives rise to the need for educational study the elements found in the language of each nation, not only in the national-cultural aspect but also in comparative translation. At the present stage of translation educational study development, special attention is paid to the issues of the national and historical specifics of the original work preservation and transmission in the process of translation into the language of another culture. This article discusses the linguistic realities and their role in the national and historical identity reflection of a different culture, presented in the context of a work of art. As the result of the study, the methods of Kazakh historical reality transmission are analyzed, and the specifics of their translation into Russian is described on the basis of the works of Kazakh writer Dukenbai Doszhan (XX century). The article highlights the sign of the “dual nature” of historical realities in archaized texts of fiction, on which the choice of a translation solution depends. The main results and conclusions of the study presented in this article show that the distance in time and space separating the source text from the text of translation inevitably leads to national-cultural biases, which should be taken into account during a text translation that must be adequate to the original text.
Purposes: This article is devoted to the study of realityн translation, the identification of the main types and difficulties of translation based on the material of literary works translated from Russian into Tatar. Implication/Application: Among the objective difficulties of the works of Russian writer translation into the Tatar language, one can note the mismatch of Russian and Tatar words or phrases expressing realities. It is especially difficult to translate those words and expressions that are close in meaning, but differ in "volume". Results:The authors show the dependence of translation strategy choice on external sociocultural and pragmatic factors. The study also found out what problems may arise during the transfer of realities in translation, and the main difficulties are highlighted that arise during the translation of realities, in particular, during the absence of an equivalent, correspondence or analogue in the translated language, the need to convey not only the meaning of reality but also its color.Novelty: In our work, the essence of the realities was determined, the main aspects of reality transfer during translation were analyzed, the types of correspondences by a value between the realities, which can be grouped into three main ones, are considered: full, partial correspondence and its absence.
