Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku konsumtif dengan self control sebagai variabel mediasi pada mahasiswa pendidikan akuntansi di Universitas PGRI Madiun. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif.Pengambilan sample menggunakan random sampling secara acak sederhana sebanyak 125 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menyebar angket (kuesioner). Analisis data yaitu outher model dan inner model dengan bantuan aplikasi smartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif, literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap self control, terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan self control terhadap perilaku konsumtif,dan self control mahasiswa pendidikan akuntansi dapat memediasi pengaruh literasi keuangan pada perilaku konsumtif.
Abstrak
Uang yang diberikan dari pihak masyarakat kepada aparatur desa merupakan budaya yang sering dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah yang menjadi latar belakang masyarakat melakukan pemberian uang melebihi uang administrasi dalam menyelesaikan dokumen administrasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dimana peneliti menggunakan metode wawancara dan mengolah data dengan triangulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya saling berbagilah yang menjadi latar belakang masyarakat memberikan uang tip terhadap aparatur desa.

Abstract
The money given from the community to the village apparatus is a culture that is often done. The purpose of this research is to find out what is the background of the community to give money over administrative documents. This research is qualitative study which uses interview methods and processes data with data triangulation. The results of the study showed that the culture of sharing among each other was the background of the community giving tips to village apparatus.
