Actualmente, las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación están cambiando los paradigmas educativos debido a que posibilitan replantear los procesos tradicionales de enseñanza y aprendizaje, al mismo tiempo que proponen nuevos roles para los estudiantes y los docentes. En la enseñanza a nivel superior, se hace patente la necesidad de desarrollar estrategias didácticas acordes con el contexto y los avances tecnológicos, en las cuales los estudiantes requieren ser autónomos y activos por medio de un proceso de aprendizaje integral que les permita adquirir competencias profesionales. Se presenta el desarrollo de una estrategia didáctica basada en las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones para la asignatura de Taller de Diseño Editorial que se imparte en la Licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo, la cual fue implementada en la plataforma educativa Schoology y validada con estudiantes del periodo escolar 2019, obteniendo muy buenos resultados en cuanto a la valoración de los materiales didácticos, misma que ayudó a comprobar su eficacia dentro del proceso de aprendizaje y su pertinencia para la enseñanza de los contenidos de la asignatura.
La calidad educativa se ha convertido en un concepto clave dentro de la vida de las instituciones educativas a nivel mundial y que ha venido a influenciar las políticas y la actuación de éstas. En el presente mapa se presente la concepción de calidad educativa, sus factores e indicadores, la política educativa y su relación con la calidad.
La utilización de un sitio web contribuye a la adquisición de conocimientos, manejo de datos, almacenamiento y difusión de la información, mediante la interacción con Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones (TIC), ya que es una herramienta de consulta y de libre acceso. En la actualidad la gran mayoría de las instituciones, de diferentes ramos, cuentan con un sitio web, pero también existen algunas que aún no cuentan con este servicio, lo cual genera en sus clientes o población a la que dirige sus servicios, desconocimiento de las actividades que realiza y de los servicios que ofrece y por tanto incumplimiento de su objetivo primordial como institución. Con base en lo anterior, se desarrollará el diseño de un Sitio Web que brinde a los usuarios o clientes de una institución, cuyo nombre se omite a petición de ésta, la información de forma oportuna y le permita la interacción con el personal de dicha institución para que satisfagan su necesidad y también la misma institución se beneficie económicamente y mejore continuamente sus servicios.
Este número especial tiene el propósito de compartir trabajos enfocados a dar respuesta a problemáticas específicas presentadas en diversas áreas del conocimiento y contextos del quehacer educativo, favoreciendo al estudiante en su proceso de formación y a la vez, al docente en su labor de instrucción. En Geología Estructural, tradicionalmente la descripción de pliegues se ha hecho utilizando el modelo de pliegues cilíndricos. En consecuencia, la información geométrica fundamental se reduce a 2D. Lo anterior se debe a que en el modelo cilíndrico, todas las secciones transversales perpendiculares a los ejes de los pliegues son idénticas. Alternativamente, la creciente utilización de datos tridimensionales, tales como los colectados mediante GPS, sensores remotos, sísmica tridimensional de reflexión, etc. han permitido el uso de la geometría diferencial para la descripción minuciosa de estructuras geológicas plegadas. Consecuentemente, la geometría diferencial, constituye una herramienta novedosa e imprescindible para cuantificar rigurosamente la geometría medida y modelada de estructuras geológicas. En el presente trabajo, se hace referencia al concepto de curvatura geológica para la descripción de estructuras plegadas a través del método de la geometría diferencial. Adicionalmente, se sugiere la aplicación de este método para describir otros tipos de estructuras, ya que proporciona un marco de referencia para la descripción cuantitativa de superficies curvas y planas. Así mismo, se presenta un ejemplo de aplicación para el análisis y cuantificación de pliegues geológicos, a través de representaciones gráficas generadas mediante la compilación de códigos en MATLAB®. Se hace una comparación ilustrada entre el método de la geometría diferencial y el método convencional, tomando en cuenta las bondades, eficacia y versatilidad de cada uno para la descripción de estructuras geológicas. Finalmente, se presenta la ejemplificación sobre el uso del método de la geometría diferencial para el modelado de estructuras plegadas. Esto último se hace considerando que el modelado es parte fundamental y crítica de la Geología Estructural y de la exploración actual, e. g. por hidrocarburos, minería, etc.
