Population growth in an area is important for development and is a benchmark for an area to develop. The way to predict population growth is to use Data Mining. Data mining is able to analyze data into information. This study will discuss the amount of population growth in the District of Gunung Malela. The estimation technique that will be used is Multiple Linear Regression. This method was chosen because it can make an estimate/prediction by utilizing old data regarding population growth so that it can produce a pattern of relationships. This Multiple Linear Regression method aims to make the best predictions. The research data used is the population in the Gunung Malela sub-district in 2016-2020. Based on the research that has been done using the Multiple Linear Regression method, the results of the population growth are 40078 residents. This means that there is an additional population of 469 people in Gunung Malela District. The results of this study can be input to the Gunung Malela Sub-District Office to anticipate the rate of population growth and it can be concluded based on this study that the Multiple Linear Regression method can be used to estimate the population.
English is an international language that use by many people in this world. Human used English to make communication in daily life. It can help human to make connection with other people, nation country in this world to get information. As we know in learning English there are four skills, they are: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Vocabulary is also an essential skill for learning to read, speak, write and listen. Without sufficient vocabulary, people cannot communicate and express their feeling both in form of spoken and written effectively. Nowadays, the students must improve their vocabulary because in their school, they are not only learning vocabulary in English lesson, but also in other books, there are also some English vocabularies that must be known by students. In improving student vocabulary, the students need some method or technique. The used picture of media will be needed to help the students in teaching-learning vocabulary. Picture is one of visual material in teaching that well established. This researcher experience at learning practice program in SMP YPK Pematangsiantar, many of students were lack of vocabularies.The students had many problems in mastering English words and this situation made them to be lazy to study English. One of the strategies can be used to solve the problems in teaching English is using media. As what have been mentioned previously, the purpose of this research was to find out the effect by uding Picture media on students’ ability in english vocabulary at grade seventh SMP YPK. Researcher chose two classes as the sample that divided into two groups are VII-6 as Experimental Group and VII-4 as Control Group. From all the analyzed data, it is found that there was a significant using Picture media on students’ ability in English Vocabulary at grade seventh SMP YPK Pematangsiantar. It shows that the result of t-test was higher than t-table (5.02>1.67), therefore the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.Based on the result of the research, it was concluded that by using Picture media on students’ ability in English Vocabulary is most effective.
Writing ability at The Second Semester Students in one of Private High School in Pemtangsiantar indicated low enough. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of three cooperative learning techniques, namely, Jigsaw, Students Teams – Achievement Division (STAD) and Think-Pair-Share (TPS). The research design used in this study was quantitative approach with an experimental. The samples were Second Semester Students of STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. The data of this research were gained from the score Narrative Text Test that analyzed by using One Way ANNOVA. The research finding showed that (1) Jigsaw Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.00 < 0.05. STAD Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.00 < 0.05. TPS Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.00 < 0.05, it means Jigsaw, STAD and TPS can affect the students ability in writing. (2) The increasing percentage of Jigsaw Teaching Technique to 75%, Students Teams – Achievement Division (STAD) to 68% and Think-Pair-Share (TPS) to 57%. (3) The result of data Analysis by One Way Annova indicate that Significant values is 0.043 which is < 0.05, and Fvalue is 3.305 > T Table 3.16, it means there is one Teaching Technique more significant there the other technique. Here Jigsaw Teaching Technique more Significant than STAD or TPS. In Jigsaw Teaching Technique, The mean difference is significant at the 0.05 level.
Pengangguran adalah suatu nilai yang menunjukkan jumlah penduduk usia kerja yang sedang mencari pekerjaan, atau sedang mempersiapkan usaha, atau merasa tidak mungkin mendapatkan pekerjaan, atau sudah punya pekerjaan tetapi belum memulai bekerja. Jumlah pengangguran di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah lulusan dari sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi. Semakin besar jumlah jumlah lulusan dari sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi maka tingkat pengangguran jadi semakin besar. Hal itu dapat menjadi beban tersendiri bagi perekonomian. Karena jika meningkatnya angkatan kerja yang tidak diimbangi dengan bertambahnya lapangan kerja akan menyebabkan masalah pengangguran. Kondisi tersebut dapat menyebabkan kesejahteraannya menurun. Oleh karena itu permasalahan penganggguran juga tidak terlepas dari bagian jumlah angkatan kerja, Penelitian ini akan bertujuan untuk mendapatkan Pengelompokan tingkat pengangguran pada wilayah propinsi Sumatera Utara dengan menggunakan algoritma K-Medoids, Proses pengelompokan dengan algoritma K-Medoids ini menggunakan jumlah sample berdasarkan 34 Kabupaten yaitu umur 25 tahun keatas di Sumatera Utara dan akan di lakukan kluster sebanyak 3 kluster. Kluster yang mempunyai karakteristik pengangguran Terbuka terebanyak adalah Kabupaten dengan tingkat pengangguran yang tertinggi. Guna pengelompokan ini nantinya berfungsi untuk meng-cluster Kabupaten/Kota mana yang menjadi perhatian bagi dinas tenaga kerja untuk memberi lapangan pekerjaan. Hasil pengelompokan diuji dengan rapidminer dalam mengkelompokkan data. Tingkat performance ditunjukkan dengan nilai akurasi. Nilai akurasi tersebut diperoleh dengan pengujian hasil klaster terhadap data training dan data testing. Perbandingan nilai akurasi antar algoritma yang digunakan dapat diketahui algoritma terbaik dalam membuat pengelompokan tingkat pengangguran. Berdasarkan Hasil pengelompokkan terdapat tiga cluster, yaitu 14 kabupaten di cluster nol, 2 Kabupaten di cluster satu, dan 17 Kabupaten di Cluster dua.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah Situs Goa Kampret di Desa Bukit Lawang, serta memanfaatkan Situs Goa Kampret sebagai sumber belajar sejarah bagi siswa SMA sesuai Kurikulum 2013. Untuk memperoleh data-data tersebut, maka peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, LKS, observasi, studi pustaka, wawancara yang berkaitan dengan objek penelitian/judul skripsi. Dari hasil penelitian yang peneliti lakukan Situs Goa Kampret merupakan peninggalan dari aktifitas manusia pada zaman praaksara yaitu pada periode masa mesolitikum sampai ke neolitikum. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan ditemukannya artefak yang menunjukkan ciri budaya mesolitik (kapak batu) sampai kepada ciri budaya neolitik (gerabah).
