AbstrakKematangan emosional anak perlu diperhatikan oleh orang tuanya. Anak dikatakan memiliki emosi yang sudah matang adalah anak mudah menyesuaikan diri dengan teman baru, bertanggung jawab atas tugas yang harus diselesaikan dan sudah mampu mengendalikan emosi pada dirinya.Fokus penelitian berdasarkan latar belakang diatas adalah menganalisis kematangan emosional yang muncul pada anak usia masuk TK A. Dari data hasil penelitian telah mendapatkan hasil ada 3 anak dari 27 murid di TK Perintis belum matang usianya. Kematangan emosioanal yaitu suatu keadaan atau kondisi untuk mencapai tingkat perkembangan menuju kedewasaan. Anak yang belum matang emosinya akan bergantung pada orang tua. Di lingkungan sekolah orang tua ikut masuk ke dalam kelas menemani anak pada sat pembelajaran, dan anak dikatakan sudah matang jika anak sudah siap dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dan mampu menyelesaikan pembelajaran.Kata kunci: kematangan emosional, usia masuk sekolah. AbstractAll parents want the best education for their children. To enter the world of education ideally the age of children is 4-6 years. Because at that age the child can understand the rules of living discipline and a sense of responsibility for himself and for others. Children's emotional maturity needs to be considered by their parents. Children are said to have emotions that are mature are children easily adjust to new friends, responsible for tasks that must be completed and are able to control emotions in him. Focusing research based on the background above is to analyze the emotional maturity that appears in children entering kindergarten A. From the results of the research data, there are 3 children out of 27 students in Pioneer Kindergarten who are not yet mature. Emotional maturity is a condition or condition to reach the level of development towards maturity. Children who have immature emotions will depend on parents. In the school environment parents enter the class to accompany the child at the time of learning, and the child is said to be mature if the child is ready to take part in learning activities at school and is able to complete learning.
