In modern age, positive psychological capital is as important as financial capital for organizational development and sustainability. Efficacy, hope, optimism, and resilience are the dimensions of positive psychological capital. Emotional labor is defined by Hochschild as control of self emotions at work by workers who have a high degree of contact with coworkers within the organization or with external clients, so as to create an expression, voice or body gesture which is acceptible to the clients. Emotional labor is analysized under three components: surface acting, deep acting and naturally felt emotions. This study is aimed to investigate the impact of positive psychological capital on emotional labor. So a research is conducted with the aim of exploring the relationship between the sub-dimensions of psychological capital and emotional labour.
Interpersonal trust is one of the major themes which has a substantial role in managing human capital e ectively. Accordingly, authors presumed that trust among peers creates a strong and positive a ect on their level of organizational commitment and their supportive behaviors to each other. e aim of this paper is to explore the relationship between interpersonal trust, organizational commitment and peer support. In order to investigate this, a research is conducted to sales representatives working in building materials sector. e results represent that interpersonal trust has an e ect on both normative commitment and peer support, whereas normative commitment only a ects peer support.
ÖZAmaç: Bu çalışma çalışan mutluluğu-iyi oluşunda merhametin önemi ve katkısını göstermek amacını taşımaktadır. Tasarım/Yöntem: Ekonomik durgunluk zamanlarında örgütlerin kullanabilecekleri İnsan kaynakları pratikleri örneği olarak merhamet yönetimi stratejisi hakkında derinlemesine bir literatür taraması yapılarak ilişkiler teorik bir çerçevede araştırılmıştır. Sonuçlar: Ekonomik kriz gibi güç zamanlarda, çalışanlar için merhamet içeren uygulamalar onların mutluluk-iyi oluşlarının yanı sıra kuruma bağlılıklarına da katkıda bulunmaktadır. Özgün Değer: Bu çalışma daha önce yapılmış çalışmaların sonuçlarını bir araya getirerek özellikle olumsuz ekonomik dönemlerde kullanılacak yeni bir müdahale stratejisi öneren ve bu alanda yapılmış nadir çalışmalardan birisidir.

ABSTRACTObjectives: This study aims to show the importance and contribution of compassion to the welfare of employees. Methods: An intensive literature review is conducted in order to reveal theoretical relationships between human resource policies and compassion, especially during in economic crises times. Results: Throughout difficult times as economic crisis, compassionate practices for employees may increase their level of wellbeing and commitment to the organization. Originality: This study is one of the rare research which gathers and uses results of previous research in order to come up with a new intervention strategy focusing on positive experiences in adverse times.
