Character education is aimed at achieving the five goals. Firstly, it is to develop affective potency of the students in their context as human and citizen inheriting their nation character values. Secondly, it is to develop the noble habit and behavior which are in line with the universal values and the nation religious tradition. Thirdly, it is to strengthen the students' leadership and their sense of responsibility as to the next generation of the nation. Fourthly, it is to develop the students' competency so that they could be autonomous, creative, and possess nationality insight. Finally, it is to develop the school as a good learning environment so that it could support the growth of honesty, creativity, and friendship with the pride of nationality and dignity. The morality education, in turn, lead to a holistic personality possessing a high moral standard in speech, action, attitude, thought, feeling, work, and output which are in line with the religious values, norms, and the noble moral of the nation.
Religious figures basically have a very important and strategic position and role, mainly as a spiritual, moral and ethical foundation in the life and life of mankind. a religious figure is a figure or role model in society. Has a position and great influence in the midst of society, because it has advantages, both in science, integrity, and so forth. Religious figures also serve as community leaders, as priests in religious matters and community issues and state affairs in order to succeed government programs and foster community life harmonization. Religion as a value system must be understood, lived and practiced by all adherents in the life order of every individual, family and society and animates the life of the nation and the state. The current situation of harmonization and community behavior requires the role of religious leaders to be significantly expected to take the initiative in the development and development of morality. This means that every development effort must always be directed to have a positive impact on character development. AbstrakTokoh agama pada dasarnya memiliki posisi yang sangat penting dan strategis dan peran, terutama sebagai landasan spiritual, moral dan etika dalam hidup dan kehidupan umat manusia. tokoh agama adalah sosok atau panutan dalam masyarakat. Memiliki posisi dan pengaruh yang besar di tengah-tengah masyarakat, karena memiliki kelebihan, baik Ida Umami: Peran Tokoh Agama dalam Pembinaan… 260 dalam ilmu, integritas, dan lain sebagainya. tokoh agama juga berfungsi sebagai tokoh masyarakat, sebagai imam dalam urusan agama dan isu-isu masyarakat dan urusan negara dalam rangka untuk berhasil program pemerintah dan asuh harmonisasi kehidupan masyarakat. Agama sebagai sistem nilai harus dipahami, berumur dan dipraktekkan oleh semua penganut dalam urutan kehidupan setiap individu, keluarga dan masyarakat dan menjiwai kehidupan bangsa dan negara. Situasi saat ini harmonisasi dan perilaku masyarakat membutuhkan peran pemimpin agama secara signifikan diharapkan untuk mengambil inisiatif dalam pengembangan dan pembangunan moralitas. Ini berarti bahwa setiap upaya pembangunan harus selalu diarahkan untuk memiliki dampak positif pada pengembangan karakter.
Media pembelajaran anak usia dini sebagai program pendidikan berfungsi sebagai pedoman umum dalam penyelenggaraan sistem pendidikan. Media pembelajaran anak usia dini menurut garis-garis besar program kegiatan yang harus dilakukan dalam setiap penyelenggaraan pendidikan, antara lain tiga media yaitu visual (melalui pengamatan), audio (melalui pendengaran), dan audio visual (bisa dilihat dan didengar). Untuk mengemas media pembelajaran tersebut diperlukan sebuah kreativitas demi terciptanya suatu pembelajaran yang unik, menarik dan berkualitas. Hadirnya buku yang berjudul ―Media Pembelajaran: Konsep dan Aplikasi dalam Pengembangan Kreativitas dan Kemampuan Anak Usia Dini‖ ini diharapkan mampu menambah khasanah keilmuan, pengetahuan dan referensi dalam membuat dan menyusun sebuah rancangan atau panduan media pembelajaran serta menjadi sumber bacaan yang representatif. Tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang media pembelajaran sangat berguna dalam suatu proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan dan merupakan bagian dari program pendidikan, juga merupakan pedoman umum bagi pelaksanaan pendidikan agar penyelenggaraan sistem pendidikan berjalan secara sistematis.
The success of the teacher in the teaching and learning process is determined by the teacher's performance as an educator. This performance plays an important role in achieving optimal teaching goals. However, in the reality of the teacher's performance shows less encouraging symptoms that many teaching teachers seem to have the lack mastery in teaching materials, media and methods used in the teaching and learning process. They have a tendency to teach the same materials in the following year while some of teachers arestill not being placed in accordance with their educational background. There is also the lack of encouragement from teachers to excel and compete among others. This research is conducted to reveal the contribution of teachers’ motivation and characteristic toward their performance in SMP Ma’arif Metro. The research method used in this research is the quantitative method using Ex Post Facto. The population of this study was all of teacheras many as 38 people and the sampling technique was done by total sampling. The result of the research shows that the teachers’ Motivation is 79.4 % of the ideal maximum score and can be categorized as medium category.Teachers’ motivation contributes significantly towardTeacher’s performance by 41.2 %. While the Teachers’ Characteristics score is 85.30 % of the ideal maximum score and can be categorized as good category.Teachers’ Characteristics contribute significantly towardthe Teachers’ Performance by 28.1 %, while Teachers’ Motivation and Characteristics together contribute significantly toward Teachers’ Performance by 32.7 %. This study found out that the two predictor variables which are the Motivation and Characteristics of Teachers both individually and jointly made a meaningful contribution toward the Teachers’ Performance.
This paper discusses the prevention efforts of radical understanding among students through communicative social interactions. This study is a literature study with a psychological approach. Data Research Methods use Library research derived from the literature, research results and various scientific articles and books collected with documentation techniques. The collected data is then analyzed using the content analysis method. This method is operationalized by making inferences – the inferences that can be imitated and valid for data by observing the context. The results of this research are social interactions are indispensable in student life as individuals and community members so communicate and assist and cooperate in achieving common goals desired. Positive social interactions will be able to be a sense of religious understanding among closed and textual students, so they feel as a group that feels most understanding of God's teachings. Therefore, there needs to be a better knowledge and understanding of religion for students and strive to conduct harmonious and communicative social interaction so that students can avoid and be prevented from understanding religious-based radicals and become a person who has a high social concern.
