Proccess of Design and arrange the 12 V battery charger unit have done for need Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises in Balikpapan. The charging proccess use AC source 220 V that reduce become 15 V in the input. At the charger, the negative terminal of DC source is connect to negative plat or anode from battery and the positive terminal from source is connect to positive plat or catode frome battery. From the trial we get output voltage is 12.20 V, and output ampere that range of 0.6-0.9 A. Also, the time longer for charge the battery is 490 minutes and this was tested with Specifick Grafity Test as 1.2 Kg/l and Quick Test at the good Condition.
Biogas one of the renewable energy that can be used as an alternative to reduce the use of fossil energy, raw materials of biogas energy is garbage and organic waste overflow crowds around us, the rest of the vegetable from market, animal dung and human waste, are some examples of junk and organic waste which can be used as raw material for biogas. This study, the biogas produced from organic waste materials and used addition of bacterial starter, the EM4 purchased from the farm shop. The study was conducted to compare the calorific value of the biogas produced by the variation of the addition of EM4 stater. Variations addition of EM4 done on the variation of 25ml, 50 ml and 75 ml per 400ml of organic waste materials that have been mixed with water at a ratio of 2: 1. Calorific value generated is the variation of 876.21 J / liter, 863.01 J / liter, 75ml of 1131.31 J / liter respectifly.
The aim of this research is to design and make testing tool of trust force brushless motor and propeller in the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The testing tool system of trust force created in this study make use of Arduino Uno Atmega 328 as its microcontroller. This tool is equipped with a load cell that serves to measure the amount of thrust force generated by the combination of brushless motors and propellers when rotating. The load cell used is load cell 5 kg which is connected to the HX 711 module that serves to convert the changes that occur in the measured load cell in the change of resistance and convert it into the voltage across the circuit. There are 2 pieces of microcontroller, one microcontroller is used to set the magnitude RPM of brushless motor and another microcontroller serves to process input signals from load cell and HX 711which will be passed into output in the form of gravity data through serial monitor on pc / laptop. This research resulted in the design testing tool of trust force which is able to test the thrust force of a combination of brushless motors and propellers up to a maximum of 5 kg with the use of brushless motors and propellers can be changed or varied the output is the amount of gravity data through the serial monitor and can be plotted in the form of tables or graphs.
Penggunaan serat sabut kelapa pada material komposit akan menaikkan nilai komersial dari perkebunan kelapa. Kekuatan komposit berpenguat serat alam dipengaruhi oleh penyebaran serat, interaksi antara serat dengan matriks, bagaimana serat itu diperoleh, ukuran serat, dan bentuk serat. Untuk memperoleh ikatan yang baik antara matriks dan serat dilakuan modifikasi permukaan serat. Alkalisasi pada serat alam adalah metode yang telah digunakan untuk menghasilkan serat berkualitas tinggi. Penelitian ini menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan kimia pada serat terhadap kekuatan impak material komposit diperkuat serat sabut kelapa bermatriks epoxy. Adapun tahapan pada penelitian ini yaitu dilakukan perendaman serat sabut kelapa pada larutan NaOH dengan konsentrasi 10%, 15%, dan 20%, selama 2 jam, lalu serat dicuci dengan menggunakan larutan H 2 O 2 dengan konsentrasi 3% selama 1 jam. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu perlakuan alkalisasi terhadap komposit serat sabut kelapa mempengaruhi sifat kekuatan impak dari material komposit dengan kekuatan impak dan energi serap material komposit memiliki hubungan terbalik terhadap jumlah konsentrasi larutan alkalinya. Makin tinggi konsentrasi larutan alkalinya yang diberi pada serat akan menyebabkan makin kecilnya energi serap dan kekuatan impak dari material komposit berpenguat serat sabut kelapa. Energi angin merupakan energi baru terbarukan yang bersih, ramah lingkungan, dan mudah diperoleh. Kota Balikpapan sangat cocok untuk mengaplikasi turbin angin Savonius karena memiliki kecepatan angin rata-rata 2,91 m/s. Turbin angin Savonius merupakan turbin yang terdiri dari dua sudu cekung dan cembung yang bekerja berdasarkan gaya drag. Turbin angin Savonius dapat memanfaatkan energi angin dengan kecepatan rendah < 2 m/s untuk dapat dikonversi menjadi energi listrik yang dapat mengurangi beban listrik didaerah perkotaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat prototipe turbin angin Savonius dengan variasi penambahan extra layer pada sudu cekung turbin. Metode pengujian eksperimen menggunakan generator yang dipasangkan pada shaft turbin dan pengujian dilakukan di area terbuka (gedung bertingkat). Kecepatan angin yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 1,9 -5,1 m/s. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah prototipe turbin angin Savonius mampu menghasilkan daya aktual 0,76 Watt dan koefisien daya 0,082. Penambahan extra layer pada kedua ujung sudu cekung turbin terbukti mampu meningkatkan performa turbin angin Savonius. Kata kunci : prototipe, turbin angin, savonius, extra layer
