Основное содержание статьи нацелено на обоснование актуальности совершенствования процесса подготовки магистров физической культуры и спорта. Для этого на основе анализа научных исследований описаны специфика и содержание понятия «информационно-аналитическая компетентность» специалистов физической культуры и спорта, которое включает следующие ключевые компоненты: умения оценивать достоверность полноту, объективность информации о тренировочной и соревновательной деятельности, умения осуществлять межличностное информационное взаимодействие; умения применять полученную информацию в процессе принятия решений в планировании и реализации процесса достижения спортивных результатов. В статье отмечается важная роль применения информационно-коммуникационных технологий в процессе аналитической деятельности, подчеркивается значимость больших данных, которые становятся важным «корпоративным активом» в спорте. Результаты проведенного анкетирования показали, что большинство магистров не владеют технологией работы с большими данными, хотя в современном обществе востребованными являются получаемые данные и способы их анализа. Авторы статьи пришли к выводу о том, что требуется модернизация содержания и методики обучения магистров физической культуры и спорта технологиям работы с большими данными на основе информационных и коммуникационных технологий. Это будет способствовать формированию соответствующих компонентов информационно-аналитической компетентности.
