Durch Reaktion des p‐Bis(dibromethyl)‐ benzols (II) mit den Aromaten (III) in Gegenwart von TiCl4 werden unter doppelter HBr‐Abspaltung die in den Positionen 1 bzw. l′ der Ethylester diarylsubsituierten Dibromderivate erhalten und ohne Isolierung durch Erhitzen in Diethylenglykol unter . doppelter HBr‐Abspaltung in die Bis‐stilbene (IV)übergeführt.Analog werden die Verbindungen (VIIIa) und (VIIIb) bzw. (Xa) und (Xb) erhalten.
