ABSTRAKPelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penggunaan bahan kimia, menambah pengetahuan sifat dan karakter bahan kimia yang memiliki potensi dapat menimbulkan bahaya baik terhadap kesehatan maupun bahaya kecelakaan, dan dapat meningkatkan budaya keselamatan dan keamanan. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa semester awal Jurusan Pendidikan Kimia FMIPA Undiksha. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka digunakan metode pendampingan dengan praktek dan diskusi. Data hasil kegiatan dideskripsikan secara aktual dan sistematis dalam kontek analisis deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh terjadi peningkatan keterampilan penggunaan bahan kimia, penambahan pengetahuan tentang sifat dan karakter bahan kimia yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan, dan mulai tercipta budaya keselamatan dan keamanan dalam praktikum kimia. Kata-kata kunci: teknik penggunaan bahan kimia, keselamatan kerja ABSTRACTThis training aims to improve the skills of the use of chemicals, the nature and character of knowledge adding chemicals that have the potential to pose a hazard to both health and accident hazards, and to improve the culture of safety and security. Object of the training was student at first semester of Chemistry Education Department Natural and Scient Faculty Ganesha University of Education.To achieve these objectives, we were used the method of practice and discussion. Results obtained that was increased skills in using chemical, it was increased knowledge about the nature and character of chemicals that are harmful to health, and it was began to create a culture of safety and security in the chemistry laboratory.
