This study aims at exploring the media use, gratification sought, and information needs of tourists in Bali and whether there is any difference before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic. With accidental and purposive sampling, 115 tourists visiting four (4) Bali's main beaches answered the questionnaire and analyzed with Paired sample t-test, testing the hypothesis that there is a difference among media use, gratification sought, and information needs of tourists before, during, and after the pandemic. The result shows tourists mostly use whats app (group), Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook followed by electronic and print media. The main gratifications sought are spending free time, get Covid-19 information, and release tension from problems. Before the pandemic, information needed are prevention, while after the pandemic is vaccine effectiveness, and after pandemic is travel rules. After the pandemic, tourists require information on travel rules, vaccine effectiveness, prevention, and vaccine availability. The paired sample t-test indicates that a difference on media use, gratification sought, information needs of tourists before, during, and after the pandemic. Understanding tourists' media use, gratifications sought, and information needs are very important for Bali's government and private sectors for effective and efficient communication in relation to Covid-19 pandemic.
This study aims to: (1) examine the impact of financial literacy on financial attitude; (2) influece of financial attitude on financial behavior; (3) impact of financial literacy on financial behavior. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and literature studies. The research model was built using the structural equation model and analyzed with smartPLS-3 software. The results showed that (1) there is a positive and significant impact of financial literacy on financial attitude; (2) there is a positive and significant influence of financial attitude on financial behavior; (3) there is a positive and significant impact of financial literacy on financial behavior. The suggestions that can be given are (1) additions or changes to campus subjects and programs such as seminars so that students can better understand financial knowledge, behavior and attitudes; (2) further research needs to follow up the findings of this research by adding other variables included in the model, so that becomes more interesting and perfect.
This research aims to determine the model development of savings behavior for Polytechnic students in terms of financial literacy, self-control, socialization of parents, peers, savings motive and income. This research is an associative study with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 4,630 students from the three-year force of the Bali State Polytechnic. Samples taken were 98 students using proportional random sampling technique. Testing the analysis prerequisites includes tests of normality, linearity, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that beside the peers variable is no effect in the model, there are a positive and significant impact of financial literacy, self-control, parental socialization, saving motives, and income on savings behavior of Bali State Polytechnic students.
Sea turtles (Chelonioidea) can be found in all oceans except for the polar regions. Sea turtles have a pair of front limbs as rower legs which make swimming easier. Althought it stays in the water for the rest of its life, it occasionally has to go on surface of the water to take a breath.Sea turtles, in this artwork aims to visualizes an expression of the writer's anxiety about the endangered turtle population. This artwork made by the intaglio print technique as one of the graphic art techniques. After various observations and long steps of work, these 10 artworks created and displayed namely : 1) Pemangsa, 2) Pencurian telur, 3) Ancaman, 4) Abnormal, 5) Harapan, 6) Terdampar, 7) Memakan plastik, 8) Korban, 9) Impian, 10) Terjerat. This is the result of sea turtles artwork which illustrates the writer's anxiety about the current phenomenon.
