Tebu merupakan bahan baku utama gula dalam industri gula di Indonesia. PG. Gempolkrep merupakan salah satu pabrik gula yang membutuhkan bahan baku tebu. Petani tebu di Kecamatan Jetis Kabupaten Mojokerto membutuhkan jaminan pasar, pembinaan, bantuan modal, dan sarana prasana produksi, sehingga kerjasama kemitraan merupakan upaya yang tepat untuk kedua belah pihak karena saling membutuhkan dan menguntungkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola kemitraan, kontribusi kemitraan, penerimaan dan pendapatan petani, dan kendala kemitraan. Responden penelitian ini adalah petani mitra sebanyak 30 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode studi pustaka, studi dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola kemitraan agribisnis tebu antara PG. Gempolkrep dengan petani tebu adalah pola sub kontrak. Kontribusi kemitraan pada aspek ekonomi yaitu PG. Gempolkrep memberikan jaminan pasar, bantuan modal, dan bagi hasil, aspek teknis yaitu PG. Gempolkrep memberikan pembinaan dan petani tebu memberikan bahan baku, aspek sosial yaitu kedua belah pihak berusaha melakukan kerjasama sesuai kesepakatan, aspek lingkungan yaitu kedua belah pihak membatasi penggunaan bahan kimia. Penerimaan yang diterima petani sebesar Rp 327.031.898,70 dan keuntungan sebesar Rp 188.397.351,2 per luas lahan garapan 5,53 ha. kendala yang dihadapi yaitu kecurangan petani tebu, pencairan hasil lelang gula yang sering terlambat, jadwal penyerahan tebu yang diberikan tidak disertai volume, dan nota hasil produksi gula diberikan tidak terperinci.
Factors Related to the Stages of Farmer Adoption of Rice Transplanter Machine Technology (A Case in Six Subaks in Tabanan Regency) Rice transplanter is a modern machine for planting rice seeds. The provision of the machine is to support the government program. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of adoption and factors related to the adoption of rice transplanter machine. The research locations were in six subaks in Tabanan Regency using 89 respondents. The method used was qualitative descriptive analysis and scoring scale measurement. Based on the research result of adoption stage of rice transplanter machine has reached the implementation stage to be tested. Factors related to technology adoption, namely the nature of innovation that is known to be true as 88.76% of respondents. Farmers' perceptions of the usefulness and benefits of technology are quite good (score 758 including class > 695-909) and perceptions of ease of technology are quite difficult (score 726 including class > 695-909). The target attitude wants to implement and the need for technology is very low (a score of 155 and a score of 143 is included in classes 89-160). The target behavior in accepting innovation was low, only 12.36% of respondents received. For the use of innovation, only 12.36% of respondents used innovation to try.
Treating Arabica Coffee Potentials As A Main Sector Of The ExportCommodity Bali ProvinceThe last 5 years of Balinese economic growth has been stagnant (on average 5.5%), whileit is better than the national economic growth (5.02%). Given these facts, Balinese economicdevelopment needs to be directed to the source of new economic growth to create a progressive,inclusive and equitable acceleration of economic growth towards the equity of the wider society.In line with this intention, this study aims to map the potential industry which then becomes thecandidate for new economic growth.This study was using a descriptive research design, in which the researchers interactedintensely with key informants and various sources of reference, related to the field under study.Methodologically these assessment activities may include careful study (observation, fieldsurvey and documentary studies of the potential of arabica coffee that can be identified as futurebusiness opportunities.Coffee plants (Coffee Sp.) in addition to having a strategic value in the economicdevelopment of society, especially in rural areas. Its role is increasingly important consideringthe coffee garden place the highest position in terms of coffee ownership in the province of Bali.The development of the last 10 years, increased the area of planting area by 3.04%, productionby 27% per year, and the productivity (ose) an average of 1000 kg/ha/year. Until now Baliprovince ranks the top 10 coffee producers in Indonesia with planting area of 23,614 ha forRobusta and 9,448 ha for Arabica. The contribution of Arabica coffee to Bali’s coffee exportcommodity recently shows a significant increase in both quantity and quality. In terms of overallpotential in Bali (22,974 ha), most (20,840 ha) are located in 4 arabica coffee producer regencies,including: Bangli (12,589 ha); Karangasem (3,419 ha); Buleleng (3,400 ha) and Badung 1,413ha. However, in its development until 2014 the potential area can only be realized as acommunity plantation of 9,780 ha covering 3 regencies such as: Bangli, Buleleng and Badung,so there is still a potential remaining 46.4% of Bali's potential as a whole. In terms of productionquality, the three production centers have excellent taste quality (the test results are rated VeryGood-Excelent by the score 7-8), so it is now known as Balinese coffee and classified havingGeographical Indication with lemon flavor.Keywords: Economic growth; the potential of Arabica coffee, and; Balinese coffee
Competence Analysis of California Papaya Farmers (A Case Study of MertaGiri Kusuma Farmer Group of Abang Village, Abang Sub-District ofKarangasem Regency) The Ministry of Agriculture in the Strategic Plan 2015-2019 has a Gross DomesticProduct target of 3.80% growth in the agricultural sector. Increased farm productivityis realized in the optimal utilization of land potential by applying the concept ofagribusiness maximally. Efforts to increase productivity are conducted by increasingthe competence of farmers namely knowledge, technical and managerial competence.The purpose of the study is to determine the level of competence of farmers, the levelof productivity of California papaya farming, and the relationship betweencompetence with productivity of California papaya farming. The research wasconducted at Merta Giri Kusuma Farmer Group, Abang Village, Abang Sub-District,Karangasem Regency for 5 months. There are 20 members as population or therespondents taken by the census technique. Data analysis method used qualitativedescriptive analysis and Rank Spearman correlation statistical analysis. In general,the competence of farmers is very significant ly related to the productivity ofCalifornia papaya farming. A very real relationship at the 0.01 level is technicalcompetence with a correlation coefficient of 0.835 and managerial competence witha correlation coefficient of 0,599. While the competence that is significantly relatedto the productivity of farming at the 0.05 level is the knowledge competence with thecorrelation coefficient of 0.465.
Effectiveness Of Utilization Of The Rice Crop Insurance (AUTP) Claims Fund atSubak Sengempel, Bongkasa Village, Abiansemal District Badung Regency AUTP was launched by the government as an effort to protect farmers from crop failureby providing claims that can be used as capital for the next season. This research aimsto determine the response of farmers and the effectiveness of AUTP claims fundutilization. The research was done purposively in Subak Sengempel, Bongkasa Village,Abiansemal Sub-district of Badung Regency. Samples were 62 farmers who receivedclaims fund. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation.Data analysis is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results shows that farmersrespond positively to the AUTP program in terms of knowledge and attitude. Theaverage knowledge of farmers reached 80% of the total expected knowledge aboutAUTP and the farmer's attitude were agreed with the average score is 4.10. Furthermore,by type of fund usage is effective category which is 90.32% of farmers use as a capitalfor rice cultivation for the next planting season. The utilization of AUTP claims fundsviewed from the claims capability is effective to cover 110.31% cost of farmingproduction per 0.25 ha up to planting and maintenance stages. In this research can besuggested the AUTP program needs to be continued and coordination between theparties involved should be maintained.
