Experimental and theoretical comparison of supercontinuum generation for femtosecond and nanosecond pulses with similar peak power level in the same nonlinear media was provided. In the case of femtosecond pumping, we observed a number of peaks and in the case of nanosecond pulses, we observed a continuous spectrum.
A multicascade femtosecond supercontinuum source based on a holmium-doped fiber amplifier was demonstrated. Maximum average power was approximately 400 mW and concentrated in the range from 1950 to 2150 nm. The shape of the output spectrum was controlled by the pump of the holmium-doped fiber amplifier.
The paper presents the results of studies on the development of metrological support for DNA sequencing. The sequencing of a standard sample of the human mitochondrial DNA was carried out according to the Sanger method on domestic capillary electrophoresis genetic analyzers Nanophore 05. The results of the work were used to validate standard reference material for human mitochondrial DNA sequence and to confirm the DNA sequencer as a measurement instrument.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
