The aim of this research is to examine the perceptions of organizational cynicism among academics who teach in the field of sports. Population of the research is composed of academics who teach in the sports field as part of the academic staff. The number of academics in the field of sports education in Turkey is around 5,000. In order to ensure a 95% confidence level in the study, at least 384 people were needed. In this context, 408 academics were approached, and the study was conducted. In the research, a questionnaire form was used as a data collection tool. The questionnaire consists of two parts. In the first part, there are 5 questions to determine the demographic and employment characteristics of the individuals, and in the second part, there are 13 questions in the form of a 5-point Likert scale to determine the perception of organizational cynicism. Data analysis was conducted in SPSS 16 package program. The decision whether the indifference tests will be parametric or nonparametric was determined by Kolmogorov -Smirnov Test. As the "p" values are not at the level of 5% significance within the scope of the test results, it was decided that the sub-dimensions fit the normal distribution conditions. Thus, it was decided to use the parametric tests of t test, ANOVA test and Pearson correlation test.

In the first part, there are 5 questions to determine the demographic and employment characteristics of the individuals, and in the second part, there are 18 questions in the form of a 5-point Likert scale to determine the perception of organizational commitment. Data analysis was conducted in SPSS 16 package program. When the organizational commitment perception according to demographic and employment characteristics was examined, it was found that emotional commitment perception differed only by the title variable. Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe factors affecting the place of death of children with cancer at the end of life. Methods:The descriptive phenomenological approach was used. Eighteen mothers who lost their children to cancer participated in in-depth interviews. Data were analysed using MAXQDA software version. Codes and categories were developed inductively from participants' narratives. Results:The factors affecting the place of death of children were categorised into two main themes: (1) desires and (2) conditions. Most of the mothers reported that their deceased children wanted to be with their families at the end of life and they wanted to go home. The conditions related to health services were defined as the barriers to the death of their children in the places of death preferred by the mothers. Conclusion:The desire to be close to the child was the main factor affecting the parents' decisions. The findings revealed the prevailing circumstances in the death place decision beyond parental desires. These were the child's health conditions, physical conditions of hospitals, and the lack of home care and paediatric palliative care services, which were factors related to the system, and the lack of other options for parents.

Yani her ikisi de güce ulaşmak, gücü devam ettirmek ve güç yoluyla kontrol sağlamak gibi unsurlar tarafından güdülenmektedir. Sporcuların sahip olduğu fiziksel popülarite ve sporun sosyal ve ekonomik boyutları her dönem siyasi liderlerin ilgi alanına girmiş ve bu yolla kitleler üzerinde siyasi kazanç sağlama emelleri her zaman var olmuştur. Zira, sadece güç kavramından ziyade her iki ekolün de kitleleri etkilemek ve sürekli gündemde kalmak gibi ortak amaçlara sahip olması da ister istemez spor ve siyaseti her zaman birbiriyle yakın ilişkili olmak durumunda bırakmıştır. Bu çalışmada nitel ve literatür araştırma yöntemi uygulanmış olup, sporun siyasi bir etken olarak tarihsel süreç içerisinde farklı coğrafyalar, farklı liderler ve farklı ideolojiler tarafından bir manipülasyon ve kontrol aygıtı olarak nasıl kullanıldığı üzerinde odaklanılacak ve sporla siyaset arasındaki ilişkinin boyutları ele alınacaktır.
