The friction correlated loss for prestress takes up a comparative large proportion in the total prestress loss, which is hard to control and brings unsafe factor to the Prestressed Concrete (PC) bridges. For better quantification, a simplified calculating model for friction correlated prestress loss was put forward in a universal way based on comparatively sophisticated prestressing loss method in current code. The determinant simplified coefficients may also provide some references in calculating the friction relevant losses for prestress of the space curve tendon in other PC bridges.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
