This paper focuses on determining the effect of a training circuit to increase the speed in players from 11 to 12 years old. It employs a quasiexperimental longitudinal investigation since evaluations were made to a sample of 20 soccer players of the Cantonal de Loreto League of the province of Francisco de Orellana of Ecuador. In regards to the instrument used for data collection, a speed test of 40 meters was used through a time range in an evaluation scale. Initially, the current physical condition of the speed of each player was evaluated, which provided the necessary information to stimulate the skills and influence the objective of the investigation. Subsequently, an intervention plan was applied, consisting of a training circuit of two sessions per week, two hours, for 8 weeks. Both the pre and post test were evaluated. Also, the data obtained was tabulated, analyzed, and interpreted by using Microsoft Excel and SPSS. The results show that the difference of the means of the post test regarding the pretest is greater. That is to say that the effect is significant because the speed was increased in the athletes of this category.
This paper focuses on determining the incidence of a program to improve the coordination of shooting the ball with inner curve by the athletes of the sub 18 category of the Innovagol Women's Soccer Academy of the city of Riobamba in 2016. This research was quasi-experimental, field, and a deductive hypothetical bibliography. In this research, a population and unintentional sample of 50 female athletes were considered, and they were surveyed in order to obtain a baseline. This however helps to elaborate an intervention program with daily exercises of the improvement of coordination and it had a duration of 6 weeks. The data obtained from the surveys were tabulated, analyzed, and interpreted. Subsequently, the athletes were evaluated through a coordination test (ladder) that has been used and validated in previous investigations. The survey was conducted in two moments (Pre and Post-test). The results obtained were processed and subjected to a statistical test, which show that the results were not significant. Thus, only coordination is not enough to positively impact the ball with the inner curve. As a result, it is necessary to consider the accuracy when hitting the ball.
