The luminous fiber is a kind of functional material which is made from rare earth luminescent powders. This fiber is composed of raw material and long lasting rare earth luminescent material, and made by a special spinning process. If luminous fibers absorb visible light and store lighting energy, then it will continue to light in dark for more than 10 hours. The luminous fiber can shows a variety of colors, such as red, yellow, green and blue in the light, and display all sorts of colors, such as red, yellow, blue and green in the dark. The advantages of this fiber are with brilliant color, no requirement of energy consumption, and a kind of environmentally friendly high-tech product. This paper discusses characteristics and applications of luminous material and fibers, and the purpose is to promote such material into the potential market.
Solar Energy is a kind of green and renewable energy, and solar cells can be used to convert solar energy to electricity. Due to the requirements of carbon reduction and energy saving as well as the policy of Government incentive, the installation of solar energy system is becoming more and more popular. However, the available ground surface is limited, and the installation site of solar energy is gradually extended to building roofs, fish bonds and other special places. Because the traditional solar cells tend to monotonous dark blue or reddish brown color, the aspiration for colored solar cells is appeared in recent years to cope with the aesthetic requirement for solar facilities in the living environment. This paper discusses the principle and applications of colored solar cells, including the types of colored products, and the methods of making color change. In addition, the theory of chromatic has been used to explain the guidelines of color selection and coordination of solar cells in various situations and applications.
The mobile phone has become an important part of daily life, and the competition in mobile phone market is highly vigorous in recent years. Mobile phone manufacturers need to pay more attention on their customers for understanding the factors which can affect purchase intention. This study is about the influence of brand and price on purchase intention of mobile phone in the case of Taiwan college students. In accordance with the results of this research, functionality is the most important factor for respondents to choice their mobile phone, as well as price is the second and physical appearance is the third. But the results of male and female are different. For the case of male, price is the most important, functionality is the second, and physical appearance is the third. In addition, for the case of female, functionality is the most important, price is the second, and physical appearance is the third.
