Field observation on how the characteristics of pollution load and the conditions of water quality of mountainous LakeOnogawa change as time progresses is investigated. The process of nutrient release from bottom deposit is discussed from the data on batch test of and field observation. In the hypolimnion, nitrogen metabolism is controlled by the process of nutrient elution and'diffusion process. In the epliminion, the water quality of the lake is between olig-and mesotrophic condition because the lake is used for hydropower generation. Keyword mountainous lake, pblluted load, water quality condition, hvvolimnetic nutrient release
For the water quality management in wide area of a river course, quantitative evaluation for the processes of sediment transport and nutrient lord is very important Present study is focused on the contamination load in a flooding river . The investigation performed by the observation of seven times of a flood in Abukumagawa River . And, the processes of nutrient load and transportation were evaluated by the numerical model based on a mass loading rate and the channel network system using kinematic-wave method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
