Vocational high school comprehensively relates technology studies, the development of acquisition of practical skills, attitudes, and life skills. In this context, teachers play important role in forming and producing competent graduates’ need toward Society 5.0. This study aims to analyze teachers’ perceptions about vocational high school readiness toward Society 5.0. This study used a descriptive quantitative with survey method. The respondents were vocational high school teachers that have been selected using a random sampling method. The result indicated teachers’ understanding of Society 5.0 is low. The school’s readiness to facilitate learning also quite low. The assessments still generalized requirements for student achievement. On the other hand, teachers still have the motivation to learn to use technology. The majority of teachers often attend training to improve instructional media skills. Based on these results, school preparation needs to be improved in terms of teacher competence and learning support facilities for Society 5.0.
Learning media supporting practical learning in vocational high school (VHS) is urgent during the COVID-19 pandemic. All VHS competencies, including land surveying techniques, cannot support students with the existing online learning facilities. This study explained the development and impact of using multimedia simulation on the learning outcomes of VHS students. The Alessi and Trollip development model with planning, design, and development phases were used to create the multimedia simulation. The participants in this research included teachers, students, material experts, and media experts. The pre-test and post-test of practical learning outcomes, as well as questionnaires, are selected to collect research data. The results based on the experts’ and teachers’ validation, and students’ assessment indicated that the multimedia simulation was 'feasible' to be used in practical learning. Based on students’ post-test results, the average score in the experimental class increased more than the average score in the control class. These findings suggested that learning land surveying techniques using multimedia simulation is more effective than classes without using multimedia simulation. Teachers and educational researchers might use this study as an example for creating learning materials to raise the standard of instruction in VHSs. Vocational secondary education is a level of education that is closely related to mastery of skills. Through the learning process that has been going on so far, it seems that it is not optimal for students to master various skills that are important to master in the 21st century, especially for the learning outcomes of land surveying. The application of learning methods that are integrated with the use of digital learning media is expected to create a more active and student-centered learning environment. This study has a goal that focuses on seeing the effect of interactive ICT-based multimedia products on student skill achievement. This research method is an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design with pre and posttest in the control class and the experimental class. The data collection instrument used is questions. The population of this research is SMK students, with a total sample of 136 students selected by cluster sampling. The results of the study show that the use of interactive multimedia has a significant effect and is followed by an increase in student skill achievement. This study concludes that interactive multimedia is considered quite effective in influencing and improving students' skills as an effort to achieve learning goals and mastery of 21st century skills.
<span class="fontstyle0">Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kualitas soal ujian konstruksi dan utilitas gedung kelas XI SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Desain Permodelan dan Informasi Bangunan. Kualitas butir soal ditentukan berdasarkan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI DPIB di SMKN 2 Surakarta dan SMKN 5 Surakarta. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode, dokumentasi, observasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa soal di SMKN 2 Surakarta dan SMKN 5 Surakarta berkualitas baik. Soal SMKN 2 Surakarta secara kualitatif sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan soal dengan rata-rata nilai kesesuaian sebesar 95,7%, secara kuantitatif soal juga berkualitas baik dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, daya beda, dan efektivitas pengecoh tetapi buruk dari segi tingkat kesukaran, persepsi siswa dengan nilai 76% juga menyatakan soal berkategori baik. Soal SMKN 5 Surakarta secara kualitatif sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan soal dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 91,7%,<br />secara kuantitatif soal juga berkualitas baik dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, daya beda, dan tingkat kesukaran, tetapi buruk dari segi efektivitas pengecoh, persepsi siswa menyatakan soal sudah berkategori baik dengan nilai 72,3%.</span>
