Head injury is a medical injury that is directly or indirectly in the head which effects the injury to the scalp, skull fracture, tear on the lining of the brain, damage of the brain tissue, and neurological disorders. Head injury considered minor if the degree of total GCS is 14 – 15. Purpose: The research is aimed to get the CT Scan appearance on the minor head injury based on sex, age, and the causes on Surgery Department og BLU RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado period 2012 – 2013. Method: This research used descriptive retrospective methode by collecting data in Medical Record department of RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Conclusion: Among 105 cases of minor head injury, only 89 cases that met the criteria of inclusion study. Patients with minor head injury were mostly men, as many as 76% with largest age group range >15 – 20 years by 26%. The causes of minor head injury that most found was traffict accident as many as 73%. There were 11% minor head injury patients who had normal picture of CT Scan result, whreas the most abnormal CT Scan appearance was ICH as many as 34%. Keywords : The Skull CT Scan appearance, Minor head injury Abstrak: Cedera kepala adalah cedera mekanik yang secara langsung atau tidak langsung mengenai kepala yang mengakibatkan Luka di kulit kepala, fraktur tulang tengkorak, robekan selaput otak, dan kerusakan jaringan otak itu sendiri, serta mengakibatkan gangguan neurologis. Cedera kepala dikatakan ringan bila derajat GCS total adalah 14-15. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran CT Scan kepala pada penderita cedera kepala ringan berdasarkan jenis kelamin, umur dan penyebab di IGD Bedah BLU RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado periode 2012 - 2013. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif retrospektif, dengan mengumpulkan data di bagian Rekam Medik RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Simpulan: Dari 105 kasus cedera kepala ringan, hanya 89 kasus yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi penelitian. Pasien cedera kepala ringan yang paling banyak adalah laki – laki sebanyak 76 % dengan kelompok umur terbanyak >15 – 20 tahun sebanyak 26 %. Penyebab cedera kepala ringan yang paling sering adalah kecelakaan lalu lintas sebanyak 73%. Sebanyak 11% pasien cedera kepala ringan memiliki hasil CT Scan dengan gambaran yang normal, sedangkan gambaran CT Scan abnormal yang paling banyak adalah ICH sebanyak 34%. Abstrak: Trauma merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang utama di seluruh dunia terutama di negara maju dan berkembang. Trauma tumpul toraks merupakan masalah umum, yang disebabkan baik oleh kecelakaan lalu lintas, terjatuh maupun pukulan keras. Untuk mendapatkan data trauma tumpul toraks di IRDB RSU Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado periode juli 2011 – juni 2012. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bersifat retrospektif dengan mengambil semua data rekam medik pasien trauma tumpul toraks di IRDB RSU Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado periode juli 2011 – juni 2012. Jumlah kasus trauma tumpul toraks yaitu sebanyak 75 orang pasien trauma tumpul toraks dari 123 orang pasien trauma toraks, dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan kelompok umur mayoritas penderita trauma tumpul toraks pada umur 16-25 tahun dengan persentase 42,67%. Dan berdasarkan jenis kelamin sebagian besar penderita berjenis kelamin laki-laki dengan persentase 80% Dan penyebab trauma tumpul toraks terbanyak karena kecelakaan lalu lintas dengan persentase 85,33%. Trauma tumpul toraks di IRDB RSU. Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado periode juli 2011 – jui 2012 dengan mayoritas umur penderita 16-25 tahun, sebagian besar penderita yaitu berjenis kelamin laki-laki, dan penyebab sebagian besar trauma tumpul toraks adalah kecelakaan lalu lintas. In dealing with an injury caused by trauma or disease, we expected to restore anatomical integrity and function. In reality, not all wounds can be closed primarily, there are too extensive skin loss requiring tissue cover to cope. One option to close a wound by doing skin grafting. This research use descriptive cross sectional study using a questionnaire to co-assistant level of knowledge in the department of Prof.Dr. R.D. Kandou. This study aims to reveal the knowledge of co-assistant to skin graft. The sample amount to 96 co-assistant. The results show that most of the co-assistant knowledgeable well with the percentage of 55,2% Keywords: co-assistant, knowledge, skin graft. Abstrak: Dalam menangani suatu luka akibat trauma atau penyakit, kita diharapkan dapat mengembalikan integritas anatomi maupun fungsi. Pada kenyataannya tidak semua luka dapat ditutup secara primer, ada yang karena kehilangan kulitnya terlalu luas membutuhkan jaringan penutup untuk mengatasinya. Salah satu pilihan untuk menutup luka tersebut dengan melakukan tindakan skin grafting. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif cross sectional dengan menggunakan kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan kepada coassistant di RSUP Prof.Dr. R.D. Kandou. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan co-assistant terhadap skin graft. Sampel berjumlah 96 co-assistant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar co-assistant berpengetahuan baik dengan persentase 55,2% Kata kunci: co-assisten, pengetahuan, skin graft.
Submandibular abscess is an inflammation with pus formation at submandibular region. submandibular abscess take the highest incidence rate of all types of neck abscesses. most of cases which caused by teeth infection at range 70-85 %, the rest are caused by sialadenitis, lymphadenitis, mouth wall laceration or fracture of the mandible. Aim of this study was to determine the profile of the submandibular abscess cases . This was descriptive retrospective observational research. Data were obtained from medical record from department of surgery BLU/RSUP Prof. dr. R. D. Kandou Manado for last three years from June 2009 to July 2012. Based on 39 cases of submandibula abscess has found 21 male ( 53 % ) and 18 female patients ( 47 % ). In the age category over 50 years , there were 13 patient, 41-50 years there were 10 patients, 31-40 years age group by 2 patients, 21-30 years there were 7 patients , 11-20 years there were 4 patients , 0-1 years there were 3 patients. Result from this research is numbers male patient more than female patient, and the most patient is on over 50 years age category Keywords : Submandibular Abscess Abstrak: Abses submandibula adalah suatu peradangan yang disertai pembentukan pus pada daerah submandibula. Abses submandibula menempati urutan tertinggi dari seluruh abses leher dalam. 70-85 % kasus yang disebabkan oleh infeksi gigi merupakan kasus terbanyak, selebihnya disebabkan oleh sialadenitis, limfadenitis, laserasi dinding mulut atau fraktur mandibula. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui profil kasus abses submandibula. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat retrospektif deskriptif. Data diambil dari rekam medis semua pasien abses submandibula di bagian bedah BLU/RSUP Prof. dr. R.D. Kandou Manado selama tiga tahun terakhir dari Juni 2009 sampai Juli 2013. Berdasarkan data dari 39 pasien abses submandibula ditemukan 21 (53%) pasien laki-laki dan 18 (47%) pasien perempuan. Pada kelompok umur di atas 50 tahun terdapat 13 pasien, kelompok umur 41-50 tahun sebanyak 10 pasien, 31-40 tahun sebanyak 2 pasien, 21-30 tahun sebanyak 7 pasien, 11-20 tahun sebanyak 4 pasien, 0-10 tahun sebanyak 3 pasien. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian didapakan data mengenai abses submandibula yaitu pasien laki-laki lebih banyak dari pasien perempuan. Kelompok umur di atas 50 tahun merupakan kelompok umur terbanyak.Kata Kunci: Abses Submandibula
