Marital harmony will be difficult to achieve without a good interpersonal relationship between husband and wife. In creating a good interpersonal relationship needs effective communication so as to prevent yourself from situation that could damage the relationship and can lead to not harmonious marriage. This study aimed to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication with marital harmony. This study is a quantitative research that used a product moment correlation. The sampling technique used is the technique simple random sampling, with 110 subjects. The scale used in this research are scale interpersonal communication and scale marital harmony. Based on the results obtained correlation values (r) of 0,649 with probabilities of 0,000 (p<0,05). The result from test data analysis is that there is a positive and significant correlation between interpersonal communication with marital harmony. The effective contribution to interpersonal communication with marital harmony is 42,2% and the others are 57,8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Household chores is a non formal complex task and its not an easy thing to do. To finish the house work needs a lot of time and energy, also most of it must be done in the house every day, especially if no one help to finish it. It creates an isolated condition and may potentially cause stress. Some housewives prefer to hire a housekeeper to help to complete house works daily. This study is aiming to see the difference level of stress between housewives who use and does not use a housekeeper. Subjects in this research are 180 housewives aged between 30-55 years old who are not working and lives in the Denpasar area. Sampling technique in this study are incidental sampling. The scale used is the scale of the stress on housewives. From the 54 available items, 28 items declared valid with reliability values 0, 901 and 26 items fall. Method of analyzing data used in this research is the analysis of non parametric Two Independent Sampel. Results from test data analysis is that there is a significant value of p= 0.000 which indicates a significant difference between both group of housewives, so that the conclusions in this research is that there are significant difference levels of stress in housewives who use and does not use a housekeeper. Thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) in this study is accepted. Keywords : Housewives, housekeeper, stress.
Aromatherapy in Balinese life very closely. Aromatherapy has an influence on the function of the body such as making a fresh indoor air, creating a calm, can be used as antibiotics, antiseptics may be useful to take the fight against the virus, soaking emotion, can be a tool for relaxation, and also improves concentration. Concentration in the world of education is a very important one in doing general replications. This study aimed to verify whether there are effects of aromatherapy to the concentration of children in the fifth grade of primary school working on the general test questions. This research is a quantitative study with pre-experimental methods, sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students who are following the general replication at SD Negeri 5 Tonja by 82 students. Collecting data using a concentration questionnaire with Likert scale and data analysis by independent sample t-test. After conducting validity and reliability there are 25 items left from a total of 34 items on the reliability coefficient of 0.876. After doing the independent sample t-test significance p values obtained for 0.823 (> 0.05). This means there is no effect of aromatherapy to the concentration of children in the fifth grade of primary school working on the general test questions. Based on additional data to see the concentration of each day, there is an increasing concentration in the experimental group students, but has not reached a significant point. Aim of this research is to know about difference of aggression in young children that get fairytales reading and in young children that don’t get fairytales reading before sleep from their mother. Aggression has been a problem many people talk about, especially about its cause, or its intervention. Every people has aggression, including young children. People believe that young children’s aggression isn’t dangerous, so they only focus doing interventions in adult or adolescence aggression and disregard interventions in childhood aggression. Actually, it’s better to do intervention in young children, for it prevents long term negative impact of aggression. One of the interventions in controlling aggression is read fairytales to children. Fairytales give children good impacts that related to the aggression’s causes. Fairytales-reading is familiar thing in Indonesian culture. According to that, researcher formulates a research’s problem, that is, is there difference of aggression in young children that get fairytales reading and in young children that don’t get fairytales reading before sleep from their mother. Research’s subjects are 92 mothers of young children from kindergartens in Denpasar. Research’s method is comparation research. Data are collected by questionnaire (aggression scale and fairytale reading’s categorization). Validity test of aggression scale find 6 invalid items and 68 valid items from 74 items, with reliability coefficient’s score is 0,989. Data are analyzed with independent sample t-test. Data analysis’s result shows that data are normal and homogen. Score of significant in t-test is 0,000 (p=0,05). It means that research’s hypothesis who state there is difference of aggression in young children that get fairytales reading and in young children that don’t get fairytales reading before sleep from their mother, is accepted. Categorization of aggression’s score shows that children who receive fairytales reading have lower score than children who don’t receive fairytales reading.
