Background: To identify the effect of physical exercise on depression, anxiety, and fatigue in cervical cancer patients.
Methods: A quasi-experimental study ith a pretest-posttest with control group design was used. 30 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The data were gathered by a focus group discussion. The Piper Fatigue Scale (PFS) was used to measure fatigue levels. Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) were used to measure anxiety and depression level. Paired t-test was used for data analysis.
Results: There was a significant difference between depression level after physical exercise with t=3.552 (p<0.05). There was a significant difference between anxiety level after physical exercise with t=11.297 (p<0.05). There was a significant difference between fatigue level after physical exercise with t=17.457 (p<0.05).
Conclusion: Physical exercise reduces anxiety, depression, and fatigue in patients with cervical cancer that will improve the quality of life of patients.
This research aimed to investigate the effect of pedagogic competence and work environment on the performance of elementary school teachers at the Kuantan Singingi District. Methodology in This study uses a quantitative approachwith a path analysis model. The participants of this study were 103 elementary teachers in Kuantan Singingi District, Singingi Hilir District. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire on the google form application. The questionnaire used a five-point Likert scale. Hypothesis testing is obtained from the t-test and F-test. The results show that there were several conclusions, namely: 1) pedagogical competence has a positive and significant effect on elementary school teachers performance in Singingi Hilir District, the increasing of pedagogical competence of the teachers could improve their performance, 2) The working environment has a positive and significant impact on the performance of teachers in the District Elementary School Singingi Hilir, where a good work environment would improve teacher performance. 3) pedagogical competence and work environment affected the performance of public elementary school teachers Singingi Hilir District with a coefficient of determination or R-Square of 0.301 or 30.1%, meaning that pedagogical competence and work environment have an influenced on performance of 30.1%.
BACKGROUND: The incidence rate of hypertension is increasing in Indonesia concerning unhealthy behaviours such as unhealthy physical activity and eating pattern which trigger obesity. In Indonesia, the prevalence of hypertension in > 18-year-old people was 34.1% in 2018.
AIM: The objective of the research was to find out the relationship between physical activity and obesity with the incidence of hypertension in adults (26-45 years old) in Medan.
METHODS: The research was done in Medan, using a case-control study design. The samples were 150 hypertension patients, taken by using proportional allocation: 75 of them were in the case group and the other 75 of them were in the control group. The data were gathered by conducting interviews, measurement, and questionnaires and analysed by using simple logistic regression test.
RESULTS: The result of the research showed that there was significant relationship of physical activity (p = 0.000; OR = 3.6; 95% CI, 1.802-7.270) and obesity (p = 0.000; OR = 4; 95% CI, 2.030-7.900) with the incidence of hypertension in 26-45-year-old respondents.
CONCLUSION: Make a habit of a healthy lifestyle in their daily life by doing physical activity regularly and good eating pattern to forestall hypertension.
Background: Good quality of health care is important for maternal and infants health. Regular antenatal visit can assist in identifying and reducing risks of mother and infant during pregnancy. This study aimed to examine the associations between education, knowledge, attitude, and maternal intention on antenatal care (ANC) visit. Subjects and Method: A cross sectional study was carried out at Ridos hospital, Medan, North Sumatera, in 2017. A sample of 89 pregnant women was selected by accidental sampling. The dependent variable was ANC visit. The independent variables were education, knowledge, and attitude. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by linear multiple regression. Results: Maternal intention to do ANC visit increased with high education (b= 0.36; p= 0.001), knowledge (b= 0.48; p= 0.001), and attitude (b = 0.24; p= 0.001).
Conclusion:Maternal intention to do ANC visit increased with high education, knowledge, and attitude.

Temuan penelitan ini adalah sebagai berikut (1) ada pengaruh langsung dari dukungan organisasi terhadap komitmen organisasi; (2) ada pengaruh langsung karakteristik tim terhadap komitmen organisasional; (3) ada pengaruh langsung kualitas hidup kerja terhadap komitmen organisasional; (4) ada pengaruh langsung dari dukungan organisasi terhadap kualitas hidup kerja; (5) ada pengaruh langsung karakteristik tim terhadap kualitas hidup kerja. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a direct positive effect from Principal’s academic supervision and interpersonal communication on teacher's performance. Total of 59 teachers were chosen as research samples to obtain data and analyzed using quantitative methods of path analysis. The results showed that there is a direct positive effect (1) academic supervision on teacher performance, (2) interpersonal communication on teacher's performance, (3) academic supervision on interpersonal communication.
