The purpose of this research is to identify the effectiveness of the first basic physics practice module based on guided inquiry on improving students’ hard skills and soft skills. The experimental design is "One Group Pretest-Pottest Control Groups Design". The samples of the research are the students who take the first basic physics practice. Data analysis techniques were effect size and gain score. Based on the result of the research, it was found that the improvement of hard skills and soft skills of the students reached 0.49 and 0.61 which was categorized as moderate. For effect size obtained data of 2.65 and 3.61 for hard skills and soft skills are categorized very high. It can be concluded that the effectiveness of the use of the first basic physics practice module based on guided inquiry is very significant to improve hard skills and soft skills of the students.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi keefektifan penggunaan panduan praktikum fisika dasar 1 berbasis guided inquiry terhadap peningkatan hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Postest Control Groups Design. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang menempuh praktikum fisika dasar 1. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah effect size dan gain score. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh peningkatan hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa mencapai 0.49 dan 0.61 yang berkategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan panduan praktikum fisika dasar 1 dapat meningkatkan hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa. Untuk uji effect size diperoleh data sebesar 2.65 dan 3.61 untuk hard skills dan soft skills yang berkategori tinggi. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kefektivitas penggunaan modul panduan praktikum fisika dasar 1 berbasis guided inquiry sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan panduan praktikum fisika dasar 1 berbasis guided inquiry terhadap peningkatan hard skills dan soft skill mahasiswa. Rancangan eksperimen yang digunakan adalah " One Group Pretest-Postest Control Groups Design". Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Terpadu Universitas Islam Madura. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang mengikuti matakuliah Praktikum Fisika Dasar 1. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa saat praktikum fisika dasar 1. Analisis data menggunakan bantuan software SPSS16 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rerata posttest hard skills sebesar 4,01 dengan kategori "Baik", sedangkan nilai rerata soft skills sebesar 4,35 yang berkategori "Sangat Baik". Untuk uji analisis menggunakan SPSS16 for windows diperoleh t hitung hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa sebesar 13,175 dan 12,551 dengan sig. 0.00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan hard skills dan soft skills mahasiswa saat pretest dan posttest. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan panduan praktikum fisika dasar 1 berbasis guided inquiry terhadap peningkatan hard skills dan soft skill mahasiswa.
<p class="JIPIAbstractBodyEnglish">This study aims to determine how the influence of the use of project based learning (PjBL) models on creative thinking skills in applied physics learning. This research was conducted in the Physics Education Study Program of Madura Islamic University. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design. The design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. sample used in this research consists of two classes. They are class A as control class and class B as experimental class with the number of each class is 22 students. The measured research parameters include students' creative thinking skills is consist of four aspects. they are :thinking smoothly, thinking flexibly, thinking originally and thinking elaboration. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive with SPSS 22.0 for windows. The results of data analysis using the T-test (hypothesis).From the results of data analysis and discussion it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using Project Based Learning (PjBL) models on students' critical thinking skills in Applied Physics courses. It can be shown that the Experimental class has the achievement of creative thinking skills that are significantly higher than the control class.</p>
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan model project based learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam pembelajaran fisika terapan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Prodi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Islam Madura. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design. Desain yang digunakan yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari dua kelas, kelas A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas B sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah masing-masing kelas 22 peserta didik. parameter penelitian yang diukur meliputi keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yang meliputi aspek: berpikir lancar, berpikir luwes, berpikir orisinil dan berpikir elaborasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bantuan program SPSS 22.0 For windows. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-T (hipotesis). Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan berfikir kritis peserta didik pada matakuliah Fisika Terapan. Hasil ini dapat ditunjukkan bahwa kelas Eksperimen memiliki pencapaian keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol.Kata Kunci: Project Based Learning, Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif, Fisika Terapan..
Based on the interview results through some of the physics teacher in the district of Camplong, Sampang regency was taken information that the students' learning outcomes is still low below a predetermined school standard criteria. This is due to the lack of use of a medium of learning, the learning process used teacher-centered so that most students are not able to link between what they learn with how they can use it in real life. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of the CTL-approach by powerpoint media to increase student learning outcomes physics. The method used in this research is Quasi Experiment by using a nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design and divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group. The research instrument used is the form of multiple choice objective test. This test consists of four options and the results are analyzed by t-test. From the calculation results obtained t value at 10.81 while t table of 2.021 at significance level of 0.05 or knowable t count > t table. Based on N-gain calculation, it can be stated that the improvement of learning outcomes on physics by using CTL approach-aided the powerpoint media is higher than in conventional learning, 0.71>0.52. Based on the results of statistical analysis and descriptive, it can be concluded that there is significant influence from the applying of CTL approach-aided powerpoint media to improve the learning outcomes of students in class VIII MTs on physics.
