The purpose of this research tries to feed the alternatives of merger between Islamic banks which becomes a form of recommendation to optimize the merger result, so it will contribute to the development of Indonesia’s banking sector in particular. Methodology of this study is using comparison technique utilize result of calculation valuation based on valuation theory in general with method discounted cash flaw (DCF). Valuation data processing using data past performance sharia banks is to plan future financial performance. Results of valuation will be conducted both with individual banks that will be merged and alternative merger determined. These findings implied from various possibility alternative mergers between sharia banks, there are 5 alternatives that are feasible considering the internal aspect such as tendency shareholder and condition sharia bank to be merged related to internal interest and external aspect namely scale of assets from merger banks and probability success from merger process.DOI: 10.15408/sjie.v6i1.4728
The experience of the economic crisis that had hit Indonesia in 1997 showed that micro-entrepreneurs were able to survive, reduce unemployment and absorb employment. Despite having a large role, micro-entrepreneurs, faced with various problems of access to capital. Lack of access to capital is a factor hampering the success of entrepreneurs. LPPI study results (2015), only 30% are able to access financing. As a solution, the development of micro-entrepreneurs is carried out based on the Islamic maqasid through the use of zakat funds. This study uses qualitative methods with a literature study and descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that the Islamic maqasid which is directly related to the development of micro-entrepreneurs is protecting offspring (nasl) and protecting property (maal). Protecting religion in the context of developing micro-entrepreneurs is maintaining business continuity and sustainability. Whereas protecting assets in the context of developing micro-entrepreneurs is a business that must be managed professionally in order to grow and make a profit.
ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur tingkat kesehatan bank dengan menggunakan metode RGEC. Faktor-faktor yang dinilai adalah Risk profile, GCG, earnings, dan capital. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diambil dari laporan tahunan tiga Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) pada tahun 2011 sampai 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun 2011 hingga 2013 dari ketiga BUS tidak ada yang dinyatakan tidak sehat dan tidak berpotensi terjadinya high financial distress. Hasil Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa ketiga BUS tersebut mengalami penurunan dalam kinerja earning yang diukur dari rasio ROA dan ROE dan risiko likuiditas yaitu rasio FDR, akan tetapi penurunan kinerja tersebut tidak berpengaruh signifikan dan tidak menyebabkan masing-masing BUS mengalami potensi high financial distress.Kata kunci: Tingkat Kesehatan, Bank Umum Syariah, Metode RGEC, dan Financial Distress.ABSTRACT: This study aims to measure the soundness of Islamic banking using RGEC method. As RGEC method, factors used in this study are risk profile, good corporate government (GCG), earnings, and capital. The data used is secondary data which taken from annual report of three of Islamic bank from 2011 to 2013. This research used quantitative and descriptive approach to analyse the data. The result showed that the three Islamic banks are in a secure level of the soundness and has no potential of high financial distress. Moreover the result showed us that the three bank have decreased on earning performance which is measured by performance of ROA (Return on Asset) and ROE (Return on Equity) and liquidity risk is the ratio of FDR (Financing to Deposit Ratio), however the influence of it is not significant and each bank has not lead to high financial distress.Keywords: Level of Soundness, Islamic Banks, RGEC Method, and Financial Distress.
The total potential for zakat profession is IDR. 139.07 trillion, or 59.5 percent of Rp's total national zakat potential. 233.8 trillion. Meanwhile, the realization only reached IDR. 3.9 trillion or 2.8%. This study aims to analyze the zakat profession from the sharia and regulatory dimensions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and literature study. The research data was obtained by collecting and reviewing previous research results that were relevant to the theme. The results showed that zakat profession from the sharia dimension is obliged to follow the text of the Alquran and the fatwas of the ulama to meet the ‘nisab’ limit. Meanwhile, on the regulatory side, professional zakat is comprehensive. It is indicated by the presence of regulations at the macro, meso, and micro levels. Thus, professional zakat has strong legitimacy and can encourage optimizing the collection and distribution of zakat.
Financial management board hajj is an institution in which manages investment funds haji who uses the shariah principle in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the optimization of Indonesian BPKH investment in a period of the year 2017-2019 in diversified portfolios by adopting both Markowitz. The research data is historical data on investment is being done by BPKH in 2017-2019 which includes instruments, deposits sharia bonds, and a projection on the stocks, and the real sector accommodation. This study used a quantitative approach with the study descriptive. The technique of analysis that was used in this research is the solutions to the results of the portfolio equation optimal with the help of a computer program ms excel solver. The research results show the portfolio BPKH scenario of Indonesia concerning the period of 2017-2019 which showed the level of expected return and 3 on risk scenario investment composition. About the scenario conservative expected return 7,76 % and on the risk 1,09 % , scenario moderate expected return 14,70 % and on the risk 3,22 %, scenario aggressive expected return 26,62 % and on the risk 6,39 %.Keywords: BPKH; Return; Risk Investment; Portfolio Investment; Markowitz.
