Several factors cause low quality and productivity of coffee in Indonesia. Pests and diseases are considered as two of the main reason for these factors. Most coffee farmers in Indonesia, particularly in Province of Lampung are undereducated farmers. They still use traditional practices to identify pests and diseases. Using an expert system, we hope that farmers can accurately diagnose coffee pests and diseases. The main goal of this research is to develop a web-based expert system to diagnose coffee pests and diseases. To identify the pests and diseases Breadth First Search (BFS) technique was implemented. The data consist of 5 pests, 5 diseases, 28 symptoms of pest, and diseases the coffee plant. Certainty factor is used to weight the symptoms and it was determined by experts and the user. Then the certainty factor is iteratively computed the system to measure the likelihood of the diagnosis. To evaluate this system, 30 users were chosen and grouped into three clusters (the coffee experts, farmers, and agriculture students, computer science students). They were asked to assess this expert system by fulfilling questionnaires. They inferred that this system runs well with percentage respectively 75.56%, 73.78%, and 83.39%.
This safe box security system with a PIN combination, RFID, and SMS is controlled by a microcontroller ATmega32. This system is designed to verify the PIN number input which is read by the keypad, RFID tag number input of RFID reader, and random code sent via SMS consecutively as the requirement to open the safe box. When receiving the SMS which contain a random code from the system, user must reply the SMS corresponding to the received code within two minutes. If all of the requirements is fulfilled, servo as the locker slot will move that makes the safe box can be opened. If there is one of requirements which is not fulfilled, buzzer will beep and user have must restart the process. This system use 16x2 LCD as the interface to show the information to the user.
The development of GKJ Gondokusuman which became an open church made church boards and pastors required to give satisfaction to the congregation. With these problems, it is necessary to have an application for the GKJ Gondokusuman congregation data collection service program. Where in the GKJ Gondokusuman congregation data collection service application, the church congregation can independently update their personal data. The development of this application will apply the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method by following the stages starting with requirements planning (planning the terms), followed by a RAD design workshop, and ending with implementation. The GKJ Gondokusuman congregation data collection service application program was successfully built in this study. Each stage of the RAD method in developing the GKJ Gondokusuman service application runs smoothly and well, as evidenced by the black box test results that have been carried out by the GKJ Gondokusuman service application, which can be used to update the personal data of the congregation members.
Abstrak :Media visual menjadi salah satu daya tarik tersendiri sebagai media pembelajaran.Dengan adanya media visual, suasana belajar menjadi menyenangkan dan pelajar tentunya akan lebih mudah mengerti. Salah satu media visual yang dapat digunakan adalah permainan berbasis komputer atau yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah game. Game sebagai media visual memiliki kelebihan dibanding dengan media visual yang lain karena game mengajak pemainnya untuk turut serta dan andil dalam menentukan hasil akhir dari game tersebut.Dalam tulisan ini dibahas hasil pembuatan game 2 dimensi yang dapat menampilkan visualisasi pergerakan objek mengikuti sebuah persamaan kurva dengan menggunakan metode transformasi linier. Game yang dibuat terdiri dari 3 level yaitu level pertama berupa game penentuan persamaan garis lurus, level kedua berupa game penentuan persamaan kurva sinus, dan level ketiga berupa game penentuan persamaan kurva cosinus. Masing-masing tahap mempunyai 10 sublevel yang harus diselesaikan untuk dapat menuju level berikutnya.Dari hasil penerapan metode transformasi linier dalam game ini diketahui bahwa kecekungan persamaan kurva mempengaruhi kecepatan pergerakan animasi objek yang mengikuti persamaan kurva tersebut.
