This development aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of multipleinquiry-based representation modules in the reaction rate material through theADDIE stage (Analyze, Design, Development Implementation and Evaluation)developed by Thiagarajan. This research and development was carried out untilthe development stage with adjustments based on development needs. Theassessment instrument used to determine the feasibility of the module is aquestionnaire sheet. The module feasibility was assessed by 2 material experts, 1media expert, 1 linguist, 1 colleague, 1 practitioner, and 10 students as subjects.Students involved in this study came from chemistry education study programsthat had undergone basic chemistry courses through limited trials. The data onthe value of the grievances obtained are still in the form of qualitative data andthen processed into quantitative data. Quantitative data are analyzed for eachaspect of the assessment. The final score obtained is converted to the level ofproduct feasibility qualitatively with the guidelines according to the criteria ofthe assessment category. The results of expert validation showed the averagepercentage (a) of material experts was 84% with very feasible categories; (b)media experts 90% with very decent categories; (c) linguists 97% with verydecent categories; (d) colleagues 79.6 categories worth%; (e) practitioners86.4% are very decent categories. The average response of students to productdevelopment results 89.5% with a very feasible category. This shows that themodules developed are feasible to be used at the stage of large-scale trials.
Proses pembelajaran kimia yang inovatif, menyenangkan, aplikatif dan berkaitan langsung dengan real life, dan memfasilitasi kebutuhan life skill yang dapat bernilai wirausaha berupa pelatihan langsung manipulasi bahan-bahan kimia untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari seperti sabun cair di sekolah masih jarang dilakukan khususnya di sekolah swasta. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih santri dalam pembuatan sabun dan pewangi pakaian sebagai upaya pengenalan kimia di sekolah dan pembekalan lifeskill bagi santri. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi santri dan mendorong minat dalam mempelajari kimia dan mendorong terbentuknya usaha baru untuk wadah berwirausaha bagi santri. Metode pelaksanaan PKM transfer of knowledge dan technology degan langkah-langkah kegitan 1) persiapan, 2) pelaksanaan, dan 3) evaluasi. Hasil kegitan antara lain 1) mitra dapat memahmi dengan baik tentang prosedur pembuatan sabun cair, 2) terbentuknya keterampilan mitra dalam mebuat produk berupa sabun cair. Kegitan pendampingan perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan agar mitra dapat berinovasi dalam pembuatan produk-produk yang dilatih.Liquid Soap Making Training in Islamic Junior and Senior High School Abu Abdillah Gunungsari Islamic Boarding School to Improve the Competence and Life Skills of SantriAbstractThe learning process for chemistry that is innovative, fun, applicable and directly related to real life, and facilitates the needs of life skills that can be entrepreneurial in the form of direct training on the manipulation of chemicals for daily needs such as liquid soap in schools is still rarely done, especially in private schools. This community service activity aims to train students in making soap and clothing fragrances as an effort to introduce chemistry in schools and provide lifeskills for students. This activity is expected to be useful for students and encourage interest in studying chemistry and encourage the formation of new businesses as a forum for entrepreneurship for students. The method of implementing PKM is transfer of knowledge and technology with activity steps 1) preparation, 2) implementation, and 3) evaluation. The results of activities include 1) partners can understand well about the procedure for making liquid soap, 2) partners' skills are formed in making products in the form of liquid soap. Assistance activities need to be carried out on an ongoing basis so that partners can innovate in the manufacture of trained products.
Melakukan pengelolaan nilai, analisis butir soal dan hasil belajar siswa merupakan kewajiban setiap guru. Dengan begitu, guru akan dapat melakukan diagnosa masalah dalam pembelajaran, menyimpulkan tingkat ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran, dan memutuskan program tindak lanjut. Permasalahan yang ada di SMP Islam Al-Azhar NW Kayangan adalah, hanya sebagian kecil guru yang melakukan analisis butir soal dan hasil belajar siswa yang dibuktikan dengan dokumen analisis hasil belajar yang ada. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh sebagian besar guru menganggap anlisis butir soal dan hasil belajar sebagai kegiatan yang rumit dan memeerlukan waktu yang sangat banyak. Hampir semua guru tidak menguasai program yang dapat digunakan untuk mengolah data angka. Masalah ini dapat diatasi jika guru memiliki kemampuan mengoperasikan program Ms. Office Excel sehingga proses pengolahan nilai, anlaisis butir soal dan hasil belajar dapat dilakukan dengan lebih efisien. Kegiatan telah terselenggara dengan baik. Respon peserta kegiatan sangat baik dengan skor rata-rata penilaian total yakni 82.5
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of inquiry modules with cognitive conflict strategies in chemical bonding material in improving students' critical thinking skills. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that was carried out with the design of one group pretest posttest. The sample used was 26 students who took general chemistry courses with a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed by normalized N-gain method and paired samples t-test. The result of this study showed that average N-gain of student critical thinking skill after application of inquiry modules with cognitive conflict strategies is 0.6 with medium category. Average score of student critical thinking skill after treatment (74,12) is significantly higher than before (35,77) that proved by t statistic (41,09) higher than t critic (1,71) with df = 25 and p = 0,000 on one tail t-test. Therefore, it was concluded that the application of inquiry modules with cognitive conflict strategies enhance student critical thinking skill on chemical bonding material learning effectively.
Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan petani, mengurangi tingkat penggunaan pestisida berbahan kimia berbahaya dan menurunkan biaya produksi pertanian di Desa Duman, Kecamatan Lingsar, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, NTB. Pelatihan melibatkan tim KKN Tematik UNDIKMA yang didukung oleh Bidang Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Pemerintah Desa Duman dan bekerjasama dengan Balai Penyuluh Pertanian (BPP) Kecamatan Lingsar. Khalayak sasaran dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah masyarakat Desa Duman yang bekerja sebagai petani baik di area perkebunan maupun persawahan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dan pendampingan praktik tentang pemanfaatan dan pembuatan pestisida nabati. Penyampaian materi pelatihan dilakukan oleh Tim Penyuluh dari Balai Penyuluhan Pertanian (BPP) Kecamatan Lingsar. Bahan baku utama pembuatan pestisida nabati ini terdiri dari daun sirsak dan daun papaya. Sedangkan bahan pendukungnya terdiri dari minyak tanah, detergent pencuci piring, dan air. Jumlah Peserta yang terlibat sebanyak 19 orang petani perkebunan dan 10 orang petani sawah. Ketercapaian tujuan kegiatan dievaluasi melalui survey respon peserta pelatihan menggunakan angket. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa 100 % peserta memahami materi pelatihan dan mampu membuat pestisida nabati, sedangkan 79,31 % peserta lebih memilih untuk mencoba menggunakan pestisida nabati produk mandirinya sebagai zat tambahan pada pestisida sintetis kimia. Training on Making Vegetable Pesticides to Improve the Skills of Duman Village Farmers Towards Organic Farming Abstract This PkM activity aims to improve farmers' skills, reduce the level of use of pesticides made from hazardous chemicals and reduce agricultural production costs in Duman Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency, NTB. The training involved the UNDIKMA Thematic Community Service Team supported by the Duman Village Government Community Empowerment Division and in collaboration with the Lingsar District Agricultural Extension Center (BPP). The target audience of this training activity is the Duman Village community who work as farmers in both plantation and rice fields. The training was carried out using the lecture method and practical assistance on the use and manufacture of botanical pesticides. The delivery of training materials was carried out by the Extension Team from the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) of Lingsar District. The main raw materials for making this vegetable pesticide consist of soursop leaves and papaya leaves. While the supporting materials consist of kerosene, dishwashing detergent, and water. The number of participants involved were 19 plantation farmers and 10 rice farmers. The achievement of the objectives of the activity was evaluated through a survey of participants' responses using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively. Observation results showed that 100% of participants understood the training material and were able to make vegetable pesticides, while 79.31% of participants preferred to try using their own self-made vegetable pesticides as additives to chemical synthetic pesticides.
