O presente estudo Jaz o levantamento das condições de habitação e saúde da comunidade da favela do Borel, acompanhado de inquérito parasitológico em amostra da população de 0 a 14 anos. Tal levantamento traz subsídios ao Centro Médico Sanitário Heitor Beltrão visando a uma campanha de educação sanitária e saneamento, além de proporcionar treinamento de estudantes em condições reais de trabalho.
O trabalho em estudo se trata de uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a real efetividade das técnicas de metodologias ativas para o ensino na graduação universitária de direito. Muito se discute sobre as melhores formas, melhores metodologias de ensino para os universitários, principalmente para os cursos mais tradicionais, como o curso de direito. O curso universitário é diferente dos demais, principalmente pelos tipos de alunos, visto que quase todos são adultos e estão em busca de um aprendizado técnico e pessoal para a vida profissional. Assim, é questionado se as técnicas de metodologias ativas seriam mais interessantes e efetivas para esta classe de discentes, uma vez que modificaria a atual e mais usada forma de ensino, a qual, os alunos e professores já estão acostumados e adaptados.
Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura, surgida nas discussões da disciplina de Teorias Sociais e Educação na História Contemporânea, do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da UNIOESTE/Cascavel, permeada pela questão: A educação transforma a sociedade? Para respondê-la perquiriu-se em Favoreto (2008) como Karl Marx descreve a categoria “transformação”, em seguida, tentou-se averiguar nas concepções de Émile Durkheim, em sua obra “educação e sociologia” e de Jonh Dewey, em “Democracia e Educação” se esse movimento era possível. Galter e Manchope (2003) contribuíram para a elucidação do texto de Durkheim. Biasotto e Galter (2016) ajudaram na leitura de Dewey. O desfecho aponta que, na concepção de Favoreto (2008) subsidiada por Karl Marx, para haver transformação social é preciso a ruptura com o capital e suas mediações. Durkheim e Dewey não estavam preocupados com a revolução. O primeiro confere à instituição escola um papel primordial para a harmonia social e o outro preocupa-se com as contradições da sociedade industrial de seu tempo acreditando que a experiência significativa por meio do ensino seria capaz de contribuir para a melhoria da vida humana.
