Enfoque do lazer, suas afirmações e contradições presentes na “crise da modernidade” onde três elementos mostram-se fortemente envolvidos: o trabalho como realização de si, a política como expressão da vida social (gerando um poder agressivo) e a fé no futuro como motor do projeto individual e social. Panorama este onde foi desenvolvida uma tentativa (bem sucedida) de domesticação das massas, do assentamento no trabalho e no destino à residência. Nesse âmbito, onde o aspecto racional foi privilegiado, acentuaram-se concepções de corpo onde a emoção foi desprezada, clamando por um corpo emergente, transgressivo nos seus propósitos e ações.
RESUMO. Este ensaio desenvolve uma reflexão sobre a busca contemporânea pela natureza e mostra como influências do denominado "naturalismo" trouxeram distorções nas relações homem/natureza aumentando distâncias e criando a falsa ideia relacionada à natureza como possuindo todos os benefícios numa oposição à cultura possuindo todos os vícios. Essa concepção criou mitos sobre a natureza como a ideia do "mito da natureza intocada" no qual os homens não são envolvidos como participantes, sendo somente visitantes. A "natureza autêntica" exclui a presença humana e ao mesmo tempo apresenta a contradição, pois considera a existência mais autêntica quando o homem está situado nela.Palavras-chave: natureza, mito, ecoturismo.ABSTRACT. Ecoturism and the untouchable nature myth. This essay develops a reflection about the contemporary search for nature and shows how influences from "naturalism" have brought distortions in the relations between human beings and nature increasing distances and creating the false idea related to nature as having all the benefits in the opposite of culture having all vices. This conception have created some myths about nature like the idea of "wild nature" in which case human beings are not involved as participants but they are only visitors. The "authentic nature" excludes human presence and at the same time presents a contradiction since one considers the existence more and more authentic when situated in nature.
Este artigo traz uma discussão sobre a necessidade de novos olhares sobre o lazer enquanto fenômeno social, posicionando-o a partir de uma relação com a vida e não se referindo a um tempo determinado. Para isso utiliza-se das idéias de Sebastian De Grazia, bem como questiona um saber o qual sempre foi privilegiou o enfoque racionalista, desprezando parâmetros não racionais como o lúdico, as emoções, os desejos.
