Le but de cette étude prospective est de mesurer la proportion du coût anesthésique par rapport aux coûts hospitaliers totaux de la cholécystectomie laparoscopique réglée (CL) chez des patients hospitalisés.M Mé ét th ho od de e : : Après accord de l'institution, le coût de la CL programmée a été analysé chez 62 patients, ASA I-III. Tous les coûts variables directs et indirects, incluant les salaires des équipes anesthésiques et chirurgicales, ont été déterminés pour chaque patient. Les données sont exprimées en moyenne ± SEM. R Ré és su ul lt ta at ts s : : Le pourcentage du coût de l'anesthésie par rapport aux coûts hospitaliers totaux était de 10,5 ± 0,3 %, celui de la salle de réveil de 3,1 ± 0,2 %. Les postes aux coûts les plus élevés étaient la salle d'opération (37,4 ± 0,6 %) et l'unité de soins (31,3 ± 3 %). Les autres coûts étaient générés par la radiologie (6,2 ± 1,1 %), le laboratoire (5,4 ± 0,7 %), la préhospitalisation (3,4 ± 0,2 %), la pharmacie (2,0 ± 0,4 %) et l'administration (0,7 ± 0,1 %).C Co on nc cl lu us si io on n : : Même en tenant compte des salaires, le coût d'anesthésie et de salle de réveil (13,6 % ) ne représente qu'une faible part des coûts hospitaliers totaux. Pour réaliser des économies, il faut donc améliorer l'efficacité du bloc opératoire et diminuer la durée d'hospitalisation plutôt que développer des stratégies visant à réduire le coût de l'anesthésie. Conclusion: Even if salaries are included, anesthesia and PACU costs (13.6%) represent a small portion only of total hospital costs.
